Do any Fuses Need to Get Pulled to Flat Tow a 2000 Honda CR-V
Updated 03/11/2015 | Published 03/10/2015 >
Question:
Im installing a BX2221 on a 2000 Honda CRV. Ive read up on towing it, however on some of the newer Hondas I see a fuse has to be removed. I havent seen anything about this for a 2000. Were going from towing 5th wheels over the last 10 years. Now weve got 351ds Forest River. Ive got tow bars, lights also.

I did some checking and your 2000 Honda CR-V would not need to have any fuses pulled before you can flat tow it. It looks like the 2007 and newer models do require a fuse be removed.
For more info on flat towing check out the help article I attached.
You will want to check the owners manual of your vehicle to determine if there are any restrictions on flow towing the vehicle.
