Curt Front Mount Hitch Recommendation for a 2011 Nissan Frontier

Question:
Is it possible to mount this hitch inverted on the frame to place the receiver opening in the lower grill opening? This position would allow use of tow hooks or bull bars.

The only way the Curt Front Hitch part # 31241 that you referenced can be installed on a vehicle like your 2011 Nissan Frontier would be with it attaching to the bottom of your vehicle frame. The mounting flange wouldn't be wide enough to make it around the frame, and there are no weldnuts on top of the frame either.
