How to Determine if the Camco RV Fridge Vent Cover part # CAM42161 Would fit Dometic 3862

Question:
WIll this vent base work on my RV? I have a dometic 3862 refrigerator. THe replacement for this unit was discontinued in 09. If it does work, I dont necessarily need the vent cover, but would the old cover fit a new model? thanks, Rich

I spoke to my contact at Camco and she informed me that the Camco RV Fridge Vent Cover part # CAM42161 is universal in design and as long as the dimensions of this cover match what you have it would work. This cover measures 26-1/4 inches in length, 7.3 inches in width and 2 inches tall.
