Does TruXedo Lo Pro QT Soft, Roll-Up Tonneau Cover Have to Be Open to Open Tailgate 2014 Ford F150

Question:
Do you need to open the tonneau to close the tailgate using this model? I would like to insure that I can open and close the tailgate without having to releaseinch the last section of the tonneau cover. Thanks.

The tailgate of your 2014 Ford F-150 with a 5-1/2 foot bed will open and close independently of TruXedo Lo Pro QT Soft, Roll-Up Tonneau Cover # TX597601 being open or closed.
To open the tonneau you will need to open the tailgate, so if you have a locking tailgate you will essentially have a locking tonneau cover.
