We have a 1989 jeep grand cheesiness and purchase a curt hitch in 2011 Then we got a recall. My question is this hitch an OEM hitch

Curt hitches like either the part # C13048 or the # C13151 that are both confirmed to fit your 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee are aftermarket hitches. They would not be considered OEM.
