Question:
I need to have 12V power on pin number 4 for charging on my trailer. I tow with a 2010 Nissan Titan and there is no power on that pin. Is there a fuse feeding that because I cant find it on any literature for my vehicle.

Expert Reply:
The pin on your Titan's 7-way trailer socket that should carry the 12V power feed for your trailer is the pin located at the 1-o-clock position as you view the socket. Please refer to the linked photo that I have prepared for you.
If you have no power on this pin after installing # N40975 you can check the fuse panel in the engine compartment. Look for any fuse locations labeled trailer or tow and install or replace the required fuse value.
However, there are some cases where an additional relay is needed inside the in-cab fuse panel. This particular relay is available from Nissan dealers. Consult the truck owners manual for the location to determine if it is there.
