Im looking to mount mid sized hydraulic plow to the front of my 2012 Jeep Liberty and most of these small SUV rated plows assemble with the aide of a 2inch receiver. Ive not seen much documentation of plow mounting for Liberties. Would this assembly be capable of using for plowing for home use?

Yes, the Curt Front Hitch part # C31020 would be an excellent choice for your 2012 Jeep Liberty so that you can do some snow plowing.
For a compatible snow plow that would do a great job and would be very easy to use I would recommend the K2 # K2AVAL8219.
This plow is super easy to use and doesn't require any wiring or winch operation for use. It's a simple to use and effective plow that would work great for you.
