Are C-Channel Brackets Available To Mount Rhino Rack Kayak Carrier To Aero Crossbars

Question:

Hello, Can the Rhino Rack S512 Folding J Kayak rack mount to Rhino Rack Aero cross bars using the groove on the top of the cross bars for a nicer look rather than the universal clamping method? Is there a kit for this? Does the S512 include the parts needed to do this with the kit? Thanks!

The universal mount that is on the Rhino-Rack J-Style Kayak Carrier, part # S512, is designed for strength and stability. We do not offer any kayak carriers that have a T-bolt attachment for the channels in the Aero crossbars you said you have.

The # S512 will fit round, aero or elliptical and most factory crossbars and has a weight capacity of 55 lbs. I have attached a link to a product review video for this carrier you can check out.
