Is the price for a pair of chains or is it for one chain? I have a honda fit sport 2010 and I am looking into purchasing these chains.

The Thule Self Tensioning Low Profile Tire Chains you referenced, part # TH00023075 are sold in pairs. I've confirmed that these sites will fit the P185/55-16 tires used on your 2010 Honda Fit Sport.
When you receive your chains, I'd recommend getting some practice on how to install and remove them. That way, when the time comes and you're kneeling in the snow alongside the road, you'll know exactly what you're doing, and will be able to get the chains installed quickly.
The chains should be used on the drive wheels. I'll link you to some FAQ articles about tire chains that I hope you'll find helpful. I'll also link to a video showing the chains being installed.
