What Westin winch tray can be used with this grille guard. I was told there is one, but i had not the extra cash to order it when I bought the grille guard. I have a 2012 Dodge Ram St crew cab 5.7. It is not an express model.When I purchased the item, I was assured it accommodates a winch installation. where can I get installation and fitment instructions to ensure a proper purchas and installation. Also need to know what modifications would be required.

The only solution I can make for you would be to go with the # 57-93545 instead of the # 57-3540 that you have. This is the version of the HDX Grille Guard for your 2012 Ram 1500 that includes the winch mount. If you look at the design of the grille guard you will see that the two are designed differently so you would not be able to take a winch mount designed to fit the # 57-93545 and fit it to the # 57-3540.
I really wish I had better news, but whoever told you that you could add a winch mounting plate to the # 57-3540 wasn't accurate. I checked our system and it doesn't look like you bought this from us. The overall design of the HDX that is designed for the winch plate is much sturdier to accommodate the added stress that a winch would put on the grille guard.
