Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a brief look at this TruXedo boat windshield cover. Now, this windshield cover is gonna protect your boat's windshield from rocks and other debris while in tow. As you can see, this is a quite lengthy boat windshield cover. So, I have it draping over my table.
And hopefully, you can get an idea of what this looks like. It's made in the USA of a durable polypropylene foam, so it's going to be water and stain resistant. And this is what I'm calling the interior side of the cover, so this foam is what's gonna make contact with your boat windshield. And then the exterior is kind of like a carpet material that is now on the outside of this cover. This is considered a universal cover and it's going to be easy to set up.
It has several adjustable straps. You can, again, see these straps hanging on the ends here of this cover, on the floor draping over and then on the floor. And these straps are in the middle of the cover. So, they're adjustable. They're gonna be easy to connect.
And these straps would actually go around the windshield, again, with this being the exterior. So, it's gonna be a very easy setup. This is gonna fit most boat windshields and this cover will either roll up or fold up for easy storage, so you don't have to worry about storing this. Now, I did take some overall measurements, again, helping you to get an idea of the size of this. So, the overall length that I measured from the longest points on this cover, we we're sitting right at eight feet, eight inches long.
And then the width was pretty consistent all the way throughout this cover. The width was 25 inches wide. Now, these are going to fit several brands of windshields. And I have those listed for you on your screen that these will fit. But again, this is going to fit most other full boat windshields, so that's why this is considered a universal windshield cover for your boat. Well, that's gonna conclude our brief look today. I believe the Tuxedo windshield cover will perform its function and fits the Lund windshield. The only thing that is a little hard to get over is the price of the product and the reason for the four stars instead of five! Thank you for your follow-up!
it works great but I wish there was a better way to attach to windshield straps are always getting tangled in the wind
The windshield cover arrived in a timely manner and was well packed. Unfortunately it does not fit as well as I expected on my 16 ft Lund. It's a little too big on the top and has a bulge near the middle.

Difficult to secure a Tracker Pro Guide curve window. Eventually tore in Idaho Winds on highway.
If you have a boat with a windshield, this is a MUST. Those windshields are expensive, and the Truxedo is amazing. After a year, it still looks brand new. I refuse to trailer my boat without it, even if Im just going down the road, because it's super easy to put on.

I bought this to protect the windshield of my ‘26 Lund 2075 Impact. So far it’s doing well. It’s a good fit for my windshield. Easy to install. It hasn’t gone thru the ultimate test - preventing a rock from breaking my windshield - but based on the thickness of the material used I’m confident it will do the job. Good price for preventing a broken windshield.
2025 Alumacraft 185x not a perfect fit but I think it does very well for a "universal" product. Does what I need it to, protect the windshield.

I have a 2024 Lund 1975 Pro V. Fit of the windshield is surprisingly good. Almost like they used a Lund for their template. I haven’t trailered with it yet so we will see. I am concerned with how it straps on, but I understand this is a universal cover. Shipping was quick even though it came direct from Truxedo. People I talked to at etrailer were very pleasant and seemed to be knowledgeable.
Well I shattered my starboard side windshield while trailering through SLC recently. The cost for the glass, seal , and labor at my local Tracker dealer is $2,000 +. Even if my insurance covers this, my deductible is stii twice the cost of this cover…
I’ve wanted one of these for two years. I saw a fellow fisherman traveling from Eastern Washington to Central Washington with one of these, and he swore by it for protecting his boat windshield from rock chips and getting sandblasted while towing.Now that I have a boat I can take out year round, it was time to get it. This didn’t fit my boat well at the topsides (2023 Tracker Pro Guide 175 Combo) but with the sewing machine and 30 minutes it’s a custom fit. I had to trim the top corners off and restitch the edging.

After one year Im still using and loving the Truxedo. I made one more small adjustmentcustomization to it. There is a rubber bumper on the top of the walk-through window to keep it from smashing the wraparound window when it opens. this bumper was keeping the Truxedo from sitting flush on the winshield. I cut out about a 1 circle where the bumper is, and this now fits flush and also helps align the Truxedo to the windshield when friends are helping me load up to head back home.

Good fit, no evidence of any wearing, and most importantly - no broken windshields!
