Today, we're going to take a look at the Valterra RV Sewer Termination Adapter, has a 3 inch bayonet end and 3 inch spigot end. This part is made of a durable ABS plastic. The 3 inch male spigot end will glue into a 3 inch female slip hub. The 3 inch bayonet end is connecting either a sewer hose or a cap tube. The reason they call it a bayonet end is if you look those 4 pins on the tube itself and this will connect to either 2 hooks on a cap or 4 hooks that'll be on your sewer hose to give you a nice secure connection. I happen to have a cap handy here.
I pulled one and youll notice it has the 2 hooks on it and its designed When you go to put it on, you just put it on like that, twist those hooks around the pins, and itll lock that into position. Youll do the same with if you have a hose, a sewer hose thatll usually have 4 hooks, you can attach that the same way. I do want to give you a few dimensions on this. On the bayonet end, the internal dimension is going to be right at 3 inches and on the male spigot end, its going to be also right at 3 inches.
