Video Transcript for Review of Furrion Ductless Air Distribution Box Chill Cube AC - LC44DX

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Furrion ductless air distribution box. Now, this air distribution box is designed for your ductless Furrion Chill Cube RV air conditioner setup. This is only compatible with Chill Cube components. And this does feature a low-profile design.

It's gonna give you a seamless flush appearance in your ceiling. So just turning that to that orientation, this is like up in your ceiling there. As you can see, this is not going to stick down far at all from your ceiling. It's gonna be about, the height when this is installed in your ceiling, it's gonna be about half an inch. And this does feature an oscillating air vent that is going to give you better, more efficient cooling than air conditioners with fixed vents.

Let me see if I can just flip this around here real quick so you can see the other side. And so let me pull this up here just so you can see this a little bit better. I just wanted to bring this up here so you could see the buttons here. So you're gonna be able to control the air conditioner with the buttons here on the box with the keypad. You got a power button, eco gear button, and then the modes button for auto, cool, dry fan, up and down.

And then the fan, low, medium, high, and turbo. Sleep, and then the oscillating function there for the vent. So pretty good range of controls there on the box. But then a really, one of my favorite features of what comes with this is going to be this remote. So let me come back around here, grab this remote and bring this up to you.

So this remote is also going to let you adjust your air conditioner, but this also features what they call a follow me function. And this is going to allow you to adjust the temperature based on the remote's location in your RV. So wherever you have this placed, this is going to sense that temperature and it's going to set the temperature or the air conditioner based on how you want it in the particular area that you have this in your RV. So that's really a great feature that's included here. You do get a wall mount with hardware, so you're gonna be able to place this wall mount wherever is gonna be the most convenient for you and just drop it into that cradle there. Just like that. This does have a sleek modern LCD display, so this is gonna be very easy to read. It does come with batteries, which is a nice addition. Of course, you are gonna get the hardware to install your air conditioner. You're gonna get the bolts there and the gaskets that you see here and all the additional hardware. The overall size of our air distribution box, the width and the length is right at 18-1/4 inches. But again, this is gonna be specifically for your Chill Cube component, your Chill Cube air conditioner. And this is not going to be compatible with other air conditioner units.
