Check details like wall-mount orientation, hole locations, and whether a switch is on the fixture. Some use black as positive and white as ground, and mounting screws or gaskets may not be included, so verify what's provided and how you'll mount it.
Some Command Electronics LED lights are labeled "wall mount only" with an arrow for "up". Check the back of the lamp for orientation markings before installing under an overhang or ceiling. If it's marked wall-only, pick a model rated for horizontal mounting. Verify weather sealing at the top edge if it will see rain.
Some options have motion detection and others have an on/off switch on the light. Motion-detect models surface-mount with screws in the base corners, and covers can snap off using tabs for service. If the light has a switch, inspect the boot and keep moisture out to help prevent issues.
Often the lights do not include mounting screws, wire nuts, or a sealing gasket. Plan to source your own hardware and add sealant or a gasket to help keep moisture out. Check the product page for any hardware notes, and avoid overtightening to prevent stripping.
