How's it going, everyone It's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Yakima HighRoad Roof Bike Rack on our 2022 Toyota RAV4. Yakima Roof Bike Racks Review - 2020 Toyota RAV4

Hi everyone, Aiden here at etrailer.com and today we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima HighRoad roof mounted bike rack here on our 2020 Toyota RAV4. Now, a roof mounted bike rack is gonna be a way to haul your bike on your roof. As opposed to a hitch-mounted bike rack, there are some advantages to that. You can leave your hitch open for other accessories. So, whether you're going on a trip with your family, you wanna have a cargo carrier out there for extra space or maybe you're towing a small trailer. You wanna have that space open but still haul your bike.

Yakima HighRoad Roof Bike Rack Review - 2017 Toyota RAV4

Today on my buddy's 2019 Toyota RAV4 we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima Highroad Roof-mounted Bike Rack. The Highroad is gonna be for you if you don't wanna modify your bike for it to go up and get secured down on a roof-mounted bike rack. I'm comparing this one to a fork-mounted option. You're gonna have to remove the front wheel and store that somewhere. With this one, you keep it as is, you put it up there, you tighten it down. When you're there, you can just take it right off and go ride on the trails a little bit quicker.

Yakima HighSpeed Roof Bike Rack Review - 2017 Toyota RAV4

Today I have my buddies 2017 Toyota RAV4 and we are taking a look at the Yakima HighSpeed roof mounted fork mounted bike rack. There are gonna be two HighSpeed roof rack kits on our website. The one we're looking at today gives us two options for mounting. Right now we're utilizing the T track on our aftermarket bars on our roof to get it secured down but it's not going to make it any more low profile than these straps that come on it. Normally these are very low profile but the one reason why the T slots are very nice is notice how it's mounted right above our tower. So we can fully utilize our roof rack system with the T slots.

Thule ProRide XT Roof Fat Bike Rack Review - 2017 Toyota RAV4

Hello, everybody. Adam, here with the etrailer today, we have a 2017 Toyota Rav four, and we're gonna be taking a look at the Thule Proride XT roof mounted bike rack. So this is gonna be for your fat tire bikes. And when we're comparing these to some of the other ones that you have on the site, what really sets this one apart is this little arm. So if you do have fenders on your fat tire bike, this is gonna be one of the only options that you have to be able to lock it down. A lot of them do wheel hooks but with this it's actually really cool whenever you're ready to load up and just press that button and it's ready to go and you wanna tighten it down, you can tighten it down.

Thule FastRide Roof Bike Rack Review - 2017 Toyota RAV4

Today, on our 2017 Toyota RAV4, we're gonna be taking a look at the Thule FastRide roof-mounted bike rack. When you're setting up your crossbar spread, we wanna make sure it's not gonna be any less than 18 inches from the center of your crossbar to the center of the other crossbar, and we don't want it to be any more than 36 inches. So whenever you're setting that up, it's usually gonna be about in the same bounds as your other accessories. So just make sure you do that, so that it's gonna be compatible. We are gonna be able to fit tire width up to three inches, so this isn't gonna be for your fat tire bikes, and it is relatively lighter weight since it's on the roof as typical with most roof bike racks. So we're gonna have a capacity of about 37 1/2 pounds.
