Most Popular Surfboard for 2015 Volkswagen Tiguan

I love the racks and the add-on surfboard carrier. It's so convenient to take my surfboard and other equipment like ladders for my work on and off with this system. It's reassuring to know that they are safely secured on the highway without any additional hassle with ropes or other tie-downs.

Really useful and easy to put your board in and out.

Very easy to install on roof rack. Just be careful not to lose one of the rubber pieces that help protect your board. They can easily fall off of the rope when tying your board to the rack.

With a little help from youtube, this was one of the easiest things I've ever assembled! LOVE my new SUP rack!!

I love this rack! I don't think I'll ever take it off my car. Cool and functional. I've used it for my snowboard in the winter and my surfboard and camping gear in the summer.

This item, along with RRRTD35P Rhino Rack cinch straps . Fit my Y06-560 Aero bars perfectly. Heavy duty quality. Thick padding, and rugged. Kayak does not bottom out padding. Perfect strength yet cushions well. The RR cinch straps very good quality also. I tested the rigs on the highway at 70 mph, faster than I normally drive. Stopped & checked straps 2 times. Everything held up perfectly. The raised hump backrest in my kayak is up against the rear cross bar, so it would have to jump the hump to slip out of the straps, but I will also run a stern line back to the rear cross bar to help resist forward wind push, just for extra peace of mind. Test day was cold and very windy so it was a good test. I read common sense practice tips on paddling forums to stop & check often, and slow down some. No 80 mph on Interstate. I am impressed with everything I bought so far from etrailer.

The Malone Aero 30 pads I bought recently do not fit the cross bars on my Thule Trac One rack. Do you have a recommendation for some similar (ie velcro) pads that will fit it?

Wry disappointed in such an expensive rack and kayak carrier. It is extremely difficult to reach the carrier to place two kayaks. We are very uncomfortable transporting the kayaks for longer and highway travel. I would not recommend these to others. We likely will purchase something other in the future. I’d rather put the kayak in a car or pickup truck that they would fit in.

We bought this Kayak rack for my mom to put on her 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee so her and my dad could haul their kayaks easier. The mounting hardware was a little tricky at first but once we figured it out, it wasn't bad at all. It holds the kayaks in place nicely. Had no issues with them getting loose or moving around. Seems to be built well and they're very happy with it so far.

I've used my locking Watersport Carrier numerous times over the past year to carry my two SUP boards. It's been wonderful! The fact that it synches down securly offers an additional level security on long trips, and it's very easy to load on/off. Would definitely recommend!

I can only comment on what my daughter has said, since it was a Christmas gift, and she lives out of state. It works perfectly and has been very durable.
