2013 Toyota RAV4
2013 Toyota RAV4I bought this bike rack for my RAV4 because it stated it works for the RAV4 as long as you don't use more than 70lbs. I only used it one time and ended up buying a trailer hitch and hitch-mounted rack. Although it works, the piece along the top of the RAV4 that the straps hook to is just plastic and it just feels like anchoring a bike rack to it was asking for trouble. So now it sits in my shed and I probably can't return it for a refund.

On-line fit-up instructions specific to my vehicle, a RAV4, did the trick for me. Installed easily out of the box with no tools required. Very sturdy carrier, and we look forward to taking our bikes along with us on the next trip to the beach.

Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top Bike Rack Review - 2013 Toyota RAV4
Today on our 2013 Toyota Rav 4, we'll be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top trunk-mounted 2-bike carrier for vehicles with spoilers, part number HRF2. Now we'll begin our test fit by placing the bike rack on the vehicle's rear bumper. Now we already went ahead and flipped out the black levers, which will allow us to adjust to fit the bike rack to the vehicle. We'll loosen up the knobs, which will allow us to bring out the small and large bars of the bike rack. The smaller one of the two bars will rest on the rear hatch of the vehicle, and the larger bar will act as a support once the top straps will come up and hook into the roof of the vehicle. Once we've established this position, we can lock down the black plastic levers and tighten down the knobs to secure it in place.
