Trunx Rooftop Cargo Carrier - 9 cu ft - Black
Has a lot of space, and keeps cargo dry, unlike soft roof bags. Also much more aerodynamicA little difficult to hook up the top clamshell to the front and put in the safety hook. One person has to hold it up while the other person reaches in to put in the clip. Also wish the two clamshells would nest better when disassembled; would make it easier to store in the carage. But overall very satisfied. Mounted on a Toyota Corolla provides enough storage room up top to that the interior of the car is open for long trips, where you need to stop and drop the seat back to sleep for a few hours. All the heavy things (tire cables, food, water, boots, cameras, took kits, etc). go down in the floorboard and trunk to keep the center of gravity low, and all the lightweight things (sleeping bags, clothes, air mattresses, blankets, extra coats, etc.) go up in the roof cargo box.
Customer service goes a long way in my book and how an item is presented on its website I've boughten stuff from etrailer before for my prior truck and always had an amazing experience with Etrailer.this is my first cargo box for my new to me Subaru Impreza sport hatchback and doing research on buying one wasn't easy but etrailer made the process quick and painless with exactly what I needed and dimensions were spot on and instructions were perfect couldn't be any more happier with my purchase.the trunx's brand box perfectly compliments my car and looks awesome on it thanks again etrailer you guys rock
What our customers are saying:
"I received my cargo carrier today. I ordered the 52018 and I just put it together and put it on my 1996 Land Rover Discovery. I must say, the fit and finish is AWESOME! I slid it into the trailer hitch receiver and then stood on the center beam and the carrier acted as if I weren't there. I can now take my family of five to Florida in our new Land Rover and carry all of our luggage and SCUBA gear. Thanks for the great product at a great price and with great service."
