Today on our 2012 Toyota Highlander well be test fitting the Yakima Forklift Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number y02098. With a factory roof rack system installed onto our vehicle, well place the carrier onto our crossbars, and bring our front clamp around our front bar. We can then go ahead and remove our skewer. Well fit the t-bolt through the appropriate slot and tighten it down. Well slide our bracket up around our t-bolt and then we can reinstall our skewer. Well move to the rear, bring our rear bracket around our rear bar, fit the t-bolt through the appropriate slot, and tighten it down.



RockyMounts TieRod Stretch Roof Bike Rack Review - 2012 Toyota Highlander

Today on our 2012 Toyota Highlander well be test fitting the RockyMounts Tierod Stretch Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number rky1011. To begin our test fit well place the carrier directly on to our crossbars. Well bring our straps around our front crossbar and remove the black plastic cover. Well fit the straps into position back into the head of the carrier and then well use an Allen key to tighten down our Allen bolt which will tighten our straps around our front bar. Once we have that secured, we can go ahead and reinstall our front cover. Well move to the rear and bring our rear bracket around our rear bar.



Thule Domestique Roof Bike Rack Review - 2012 Toyota Highlander

Today on our 2012 Toyota Highlander well be test fitting the Thule Domestique Fork Mount Bike Carrier, part number th513. For an easier installation, the skewer is removed, and all the screws at the front and the rear are loosened. With a Thule Edge roof rack system assembled onto our vehicle, well begin our test fit by placing the Domestique directly onto our load bars. Well go ahead and fit our rear and front clamps around the load bar. Here at the front, well feed our bolts back through the appropriate holes in the clamp and tighten with an Allen tool. Once we have all the bolts tight at the front, well move to the rear, fit the bolt through our rear clamp, and tighten it down with an Allen tool.



Swagman Fork Down Roof Bike Rack Review - 2012 Toyota Highlander

Today on our 2012 Toyota Highlander well be test fitting the Fork Style Roof Mounted Bike Carrier from Swagman, part number s64710. With a Thule Edge roof rack system assembled onto our vehicle, well begin our test fit by placing our Fork Down directly onto our load bars. Well take our u-bolt and place it through the holes at the rear of the carrier making sure that it goes around our load bar. Now well go to the front, place our u-bolts under the load bar and bring them up through our platform. Well secure it with two wing nuts. Well tighten those down and repeat that process on the other side.



RockyMounts TieRod Roof Bike Rack Review - 2012 Toyota Highlander

Today, we're working with a 2012 Toyota Highlander and we're going to be test fitting the RockyMounts TieRod Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number RKY1014. To mount our carrier up on top of our roof rack, we'll simply place it on top of our load bars. We'll fit the rubber coated steel straps at the front of the carrier around our front load bar. We'll fit them back into the head of the carrier and use an Allen key to tighten them down. Once we have those straps tightened down, we can reinstall our front cover. We'll also make sure that our skewer is open in preparation for loading a bike.
