The order process was smooth. But, when trying to find out about the the lifetime warranty offered by Gen Y on the rubber components in the hitch Nicole could not answer my question. I asked if I was able to purchase through you and if not could I purchase from Gen Y even though I bought the hitch from you. This is something customer service should know the answer too. You would have gotten five stars but it was ruined by lack of knowledge by your staff.
Awesome hitch, the tongue weight scale is the cheesiest thing I've ever seen on a product with this price point- a sticker that was peeling up when I received it and a little white paint mark that wiped away when I used an alcohol wipe to clean it before covering with super glue to try and make it hold up past the first rain event. Come on Gen Y your engineers can surely come up with something better that will actually last for years. You got the hitch down, now just focus on the details.

Very nice hitch. This is my third hitch purchase from etrailer.com and as usual, delivery was fast and the install went smoothly. The videos and user comments were very helpful. My vehicle is a few years old so the suggestion to chase the 8 mounting nut holes was spot on. There was a lot of mud and dirt which easily came out but would have been a pain to do while mounting the hitch. Also, the suggestion to spray down the rubber exhaust hangers and muffler heat shield bolts with penetrant (WD40) helped as well. The recommended draw bar and 4-wire harness also mounted beautifully. Got to love those factory installed rear wire harnesses which allow plug-in trailer harnesses on the Honda/Acura products. Total install took about 90 minutes which I think will be typical for a DIY'er who sprays down the bolts, chases the holes and without rushing or using air tools. Will buy again from etrailer.com
