Best 2003 Dodge Ram Pickup Towing Mirrors

Just got them and put them on. I have not towed my trailer yet, but they look great and very easy to install. I would give 5 stars, but have not traveled with them yet.

I received my mirrors a day before my trip using a 22" car hauler. Mirrors went on very easy and adjusted the same. They worked out great. The only thing I will say is that when moving at Highway speeds the mirrors did flutter just enough to to notice. Not bad. The employees at E-trailer were great and followed up to make sure I was sattisified. I would use them again if I need anything for my trailer.

My Ram 2500 lacked tow mirrors, and the price to upgrade to stock was too much for my liking. Decided to give these a try and they work great.

I bought this product to use on my 2017 RAM 1500 Lone Star. I pull a travel trailer that is 7' 6" wide and I wanted to have a better view of the traffic behind me. This fills the bill perfectly. It is very high quality and very stable on the road. I made these photos while backed up to my trailer in the back yard.

I orders these "Snap and Zap" mirrors as a replacement to the ones I had for my 2003 Ram Truck. I was very happy to find the ones with an opening for the turn/ puddle tights on the existing mirrors. I was concerned when the package arrived as it looked like it had been delivered by Jim Carreys character in "The Cable Guy" ! The box was crushed on one end ( the end that had the big FRAGILE label on it !) and I was sure they would be broken. The previous set came wrapped in the box with bubble wrap. To my delight , they were intact . I put them on my truck and they work as expected, easy install and don't affect the electric retractable mirrors !

Wow! eTrailer's shipping department has their act together. Placed the order on Wednesday and it was on my door step on Friday--2 days after ordering. Product fit my 2016 Ram 1500 ecodiesel with standard mirrors well. The supplied wedges weren't a perfect fit, however it is just what I needed and am very pleased with the product. This is not the first purchase from eTrailer. I am very happy with their products and service.

I was looking for towing mirrors for my 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 SLR. When I purchased my truck, it didn't come with any towing mirrors, even though it has a tow package. You would assume if a big truck has a towing package, towing mirrors would be standard. I found very expensive mirrors but I wasn't going to pay the high price if I could avoid it. I started looking into the CIPA products in 2013 but couldn't find the slip on type mirrors for my truck. I contacted CIPA directly and was informed that they didn't make a slip on mirror for my truck, nor did they know if they were going to make some. A year later I again started looking for mirrors on the internet and came across etrailer. The information on this product indicated that it would fit my 2012 Dodge Ram 2500, but no mention of the SLR package. I contacted etrailer via email and they informed me that CIPA said the mirrors wouldn't fit my truck. I personally contacted etrailer and spoke to a very helpful and patient sales person, Dana M. She looked at all of the information on this product and was very positive about the mirrors fitting my truck. So I ordered the product after Dana informed me that I could send them back and the shipping would be paid for by etrailer. With nothing to lose, the mirrors were sent to me. I opened the boxes and put them on my truck. They fit perfect! They don't vibrate, and they look like they came with my truck as a stock item. I can see around my RV and it gave me peace of mind. I ordered the CIPA towing mirrors for a 2001 Dodge Ram 3500 after looking at your web site and video, I was particularly interested in whether the passenger side mirror was an actual mirror and not a convex bulls eye, which it is.(actual mirror) So now I can see exactly where my right rear bumper/corner is in relation to. The mirrors came in a professional package and completely undamaged. I had previously ordered this item from a competitor but returned it as it did not fit the truck.Also the package was torn and the contents were filthy. I am very satisfied with your service/product.

The issue that I have with these mirrors is that the mirror itself vibrates too much, making it very difficult and uncomfortable to use. There needs to be a way to stabilize the mirror to stop the vibration.

Been looking for a pair of mirror extensions as I pull a 5th wheel camper. Thanks just what I need.

Assembly was pretty much straight forward. I do not remember seeing a paper set of instructions with these mirrors. Hardest part is removing the door panels with their 13 individual plastic fasteners. It helps if the door is warm when removing the panels, less likely to tear the plastic parts. After installing the mirrors there was a slight gap where the plastic cowling on the mirrors buts up against the outside of the doors at the top of the triangular apex. I was not able to get rid of the gap no matter how tight the mirrors were fastened. I just lived with it. Mirrors seem solid and sturdy and don't vibrate much at highway speed. The heated option does a good job of clearing the frost on the mirrors. I really like that the mirrors fold in almost flush with the windows. Makes it easier to get around in the single car garage. Overall a good set of mirrors.

Replaced factory sport mirrors with these for towing a fifth wheel. These mirrors made a huge difference and there was little vibration at speed. Other cheaper mirrors I looked at had bad reviews about wire routing and shorting. These have the wiring routed to come out in the factory location. Easy install, the door panel removal was the hardest part.

The set of mirrors that were sent to me were a returned item. How do I know this is there was a return email in the box from the person that returned the item. And when I tried to install the mirrors to go on our camping trip this weekend only the passenger side would stay on. Not sure why but it appears that the foam inside the mirror is to thick. And there was no other foam pieces inside the box like is mentioned in the installation instructions. Had I known sooner I would have returned them.

The product seems well made and it even fits well! Its made in USA and the shipping was very fast and I'm very pleased.

These were exactly as advertised and a good value. They work well on my 2500 dodge ram diesel towing a 35 travel trailer Just in time for my trip to EAA Air venture at oshkosh. they let you see around the side of the trailer as the stock mirrors do not. These mirrors work great....Some vibration but not bad. They fit perfect on my Dodge truck.I would recommend them.

A one year review...sheesh. this was one of the worst purchases I've made. I ordered these for my towing rig, a 1991 dodge ram 250. They constantly fell off whenever I would shut the doors. Constantly. I would always have to slide them back on into position. Maybe because they're chrome mirrors I dunno. The sticky pads inside did not hold them firm. But my dad bought a new truck and 5th wheel and I mentioned these mirrors by name for him to avoid.

Received my order promptly, packed very well. Connected them to my side mirrors, slid them right on without any problems. I was a bit worried they would be loose but they are very snug with the rubber pads attached to them. I had been using the side view mirrors with the rubber straps but those mirrors had a lot of vibration to them, these have no movement whatsoever, highly recommend these, very satisfied customer!

Not very difficult installation, even for us senior citizens ! They work so well that I wish we had done it years ago.

Purchased rv travel trailer, placed these on my ram. Installation was very easy. Just make sure ratchet until snug. No vibration noted with these and view is excellent. etrailer has been great. I have ordered several times from etrailer. They always follow thru with order details.

I needed extended mirrors only when towing large RV behind my pickup truck. These worked as well as expected. Easy on and off. Store behind my front seat.
