One year follow up - These cables have about 3000 miles on them towing since purchase. They work as described. Units have shrink fit ends where they attach to the hook.

Each cable had one end each that the end loop cable is unraveled /loose. Meaning there is cable separation at the end loops. The other end loops were tightly wrapped in the loop ends. The product is poorly assembled. Both loop ends should have tight unwound cables.
