Bulldog Square Jack - Drop Leg w/ Spring Return - Sidewind - 26" Lift - 10,000 lbs
This is replacing a Bulldog jack that's 22 years old and was recently stripped out. It will be a huge improvement. The shipping was fast, and the product showed up very well packaged. I'm looking forward to welding it on this weekend.

Bulldog Tandem Landing Gear Set - Drop Leg - 36" Lift - 8,000 lbs
Delivery was on time, but the box it arrived in didn’t fair we’ll and parts were hanging out of the box! But everything was accounted for and the parts were well wrapped. Installation was very easy. The only issue was the locking pins mount plate is tack welded to the primary leg that the motor moves up and down. Those mounting plates had to be removed to install the lead and follow jacks. A grinder made short work of that. I didn’t put the mounting plates back on, instead I used my spring loaded pins that were on the old legs, they were still in good working condition. Also I didn’t use the adjustable cross over rod that came in the package . I opted to use the one that was on my old jacks, it was constructed of heaven gauge tubing and didn’t have a much (slop) movement in it. Also did not use the plastic housing gear box, I purchased a aluminum house gear box from e-trailer a few months back and used that one keeping the plastic for a spare. Very satisfied.
The leg pin came out because of the design, it is not a strong locking mechanism to not pull it all the way out. (My wife pulled it all the way out) Afyer furthet inspection, in addition to poor locking mechanism, the size of the pin is not adequate for the specified weight of the jack.

Bulldog Powered Drive Trailer Jack - Drop Leg - A-Frame - 22" Lift - 3,500 lbs - Black
I looked long & hard for a trailer jack that would allow the tailgate of my '14 Ram lower without inference. This is the answer that I came up with. The clearance dimension is as close as 1/2" between the tailgate & the front of the jack. etrailer personnel assisted with printed info, taking physical measurements, photos, etc. All in an effort, so I can make the best decision for my situation. The added feature of the auxiliary lights is great coupling/uncoupling in the dark or near dark. I have had this jack for approximately one year without any interruption of service. I could not even imagine cranking up & down a traditional jack. Great product choice. I would highly recommend this product.
Put this on my passport 2810BH. Tongue weights of 500lbs to 1080lbs. More than adequate power and travel distance. Easily able to lift trailer up a bit to enable weight distr bars to be installed/removed. Tow with a 2018 Ram Rebel 1500. Am able to put tailgate down and it clears the jack by about 3/4”or so. If there’s any significant offset angle between truck and trailer that tailgate clearance goes to below zero and you may scrape the tailgate on the jack. Be careful. This is with the jack mounted “straight ahead”. If you rotate the jack 120 degrees and install it ‘sideways’ you’d have more clearance. It just looks weird. The “On/Off” paddle switch is for lights only. It doesn’t turn power off to the jack. So if you hardwire it to 12V system, the “Ext/Retract” paddle switch is always live. Lots of reviews say the sun will fade the green dyed fluid in the level on top. I just made a simple bag/cover for it from a tarp. Overall, very satisfied with the jack. If you’re still hand cranking, why? This makes your life SO much easier.
