  • How Many E-Chock Wheel Chocks # EM09162-2 Should be Used to Secure a Golf Cart in Truck Bed
  • Since you will be using tie downs as well as the E-Chock Wheel Chocks # EM09162-2 you shouldn't need more than 1 pair. Your tie downs should be rated for over the weight of your golf cart so the wheel chocks are meant to be used as a wedge to secure one set of tires. If you don't already have tie downs for your tires then I recommend using the Erickson Adjustable Wheel Net # 77314 which has fittings specifically designed for an E-Track like part # E19148. These have a weight rating of...

  • Can Kenda Golf Cart Tire be Used When Inflated to Less Than Max PSI
  • You can inflate the Kenda 18 x 8.50-8 Bias Golf Cart Tire with 8" White Wheel # AM90002 to 12 psi but its capacity will be quite a bit lower than the 815 lbs it is when inflated to its max 22 psi; just be sure you do not overload the tire if you are not going to inflate it to max psi. It is also possible that you may experience some issues with uneven tread wear if you do not inflate it to the psi on the sidewall, so we do recommend always doing that. I have added links to a couple video...

  • Can FloTool Wheel Chocks Fit 235/80-16 Size Trailer Tires
  • I reached out to my contact at FloTool and the # FT11930MI wheel chocks are only rated for wheels that are 20 inches in overall diameter. They're designed for lawnmowers and golf carts and not trailers. Instead I recommend the etrailer wheel chocks, part # 288-02011-2, which can be used with your 235/80R16 tires. I linked a video you can check out as well.

  • Erickson E-Track 5 Foot Installation on a Utility Trailer for Hauling a Golf Cart
  • To install the Erickson E-Track 5 foot section # E19148 on your trailer you can use rivets, screws, or weld it to the trailer. Since your trailer is aluminum, welding may not be an option since the E-Track is steel. I recommend using screws, or bolts and nuts, and backing plates like the etrailer # e96RR. Another option that some of our other customers have done, is to use additional E-Track on the bottom of their trailer, and liked the option of having additional tie down locations....

  • Can the Wheels on Viking Solutions Tilt-N-Go II Cart be Stowed on the Cart when Not in Use
  • You are 100 percent right. I thought that maybe the wheel and axle assembly could be inverted so the wheels can stay on the Viking Solutions Tilt-N-Go II Cart - Hitch Mounted - 300 lbs Item # 310-VTG002 but they can't. Me and a coworker tried just now. While you can invert the assembly the tires would have to come off for it to fit. The tires are held on with cotter pins so it would be easy but would still require a few steps and additional time.

  • What Tire Chains are Compatible with Gravel Roads on My 2010 Volkswagen Gold with 225/45-17 Tires?
  • I have a great gravel-road solution for you. Unfortunately, since the pewag Servi RS Chains # PWRS74 are only rated for on-road use only, they are not compatible with gravel roads. With that being said, I assume that you have standard 225/45-17 tires on your 2010 Volkswagen Golf. We do have great chains that are confirmed to fit your tires that are constructed for both on and off-road use. Those chains are the Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains - Ladder Pattern - Twist Links - 1 Pair # TC1134....

  • Solution for Towing 2017 Toyota Prius Behind Motorhome
  • You are correct, the 2017 Toyota Prius that you have can only be towed on a dolly behind a motorhome. Good news is it won't put miles on the vehicle since the drive wheels will be on the dolly. I like dolly setups over tow bar setups for a number of reasons. The install time is considerably less, you can easily transfer the towing setup to a different vehicle unlike base plate kits that are vehicle specific, and you don't put miles on the vehicle. The price isn't that different either when...
