Hello Darla, thanks for reaching out. I recommend using a Yakima JetStream bar roof rack on your 2023 Cadillac XT5. The Yakima Crossbars will be compatible with the Thule Hullavator # TH898, and there will be enough overhang on the crossbars to properly support the Hullavator system. Welcome back Blake! We have a couple of different options to add a 7-way connector to your 2017 Cadillac XT5 depending on whether or not you have the factory tow package. If you do it's really simple all you need is the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package item # C56326.
