Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at and showing you how to install these Scrubblade wiper blades. This is gonna be a frame style wiper blade, 24 inches long, and it's gonna be a direct replacement for the wipers on your 2022 Ram 1500. It's a pretty easy process to get these installed. All you gotta do is get the old one removed. Make sure you have a towel down or something to protect your windshield.
You don't wanna crack it if this comes flying back down. But to remove the old one we've just got a tab underneath that we'll press on and push down on the wiper blade to remove it from that hook. And then the new one just installs the exact same way. We've got our portion right there, we can hook it in place. And when you do that you'll kind of feel it set in, get it lined up properly.
And if you need to you can get your hand moved out of the way and make sure this isn't pressed up against it. That way you can get the hook all the way in right about there. And pushing it up, you'll feel it kind of click in, good to go, and we can let it set down. This one, you can see it's got the dual blade design here. It's gonna help it just get better coverage over the windshield.
And then testing it out, we can see everything's working really smoothly. It's not streaking and it's working a little bit better than the one that's on the factory on the passenger side. Now, this is a really easy part to replace so it's nice to be able to do that. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the frame style myself. I like the ones kind of like this factory style that have the aggressive curve just 'cause I feel like it gets more pressure on the windshield.
But that's just personal preference for me. Scrubblade does have an option like this with that dual blade design, so maybe that's the one I would go with. But either way you go, replacing these regularly, it's gonna keep your windshield nice and clean and keep that rain off of it in bad weather. Either way, it's gonna be an easy install on your 2022 Ram 1500. Thanks for watching..
