The Michelin Stealth Ultra hybrid-style wiper blade for your vehicle guarantees excellent results when it comes to keeping your windshield clean. It combines the contoured, aerodynamic shape of a beam-style wiper with the flexibility and multiple pressure points of a frame-style wiper to produce a blade that won't miss spots or cause streaking.
The Stealth uses patented SmartFlex frame arms and hinges for superior windshield-cleaning results. The 2 secondary arms flex to allow the blade to conform to the shape of your windshield better than standard frames can. The secondary arms also provide strong lateral support to the wiper. The SmartFlex hinges are designed to work together with the secondary arms, enhancing their ability to hold down the ends of the blade. The secondary arms transfer downward pressure to 4 tertiary arms, resulting in a total of 8 pressure points along the blade for even windshield contact. The SmartFlex system ensures that the blade applies pressure along its entire length, no matter the shape of your windshield or the pressure exerted by your wiper's arms
The Stealth Ultra has a hard cover that prevents the wiper blade from accumulating sleet, snow, and leaves. By resisting buildup - and adding to the overall strength of the blade - the hard cover ensures that the wiper can weather the tough challenges of Mother Nature and consistently keep your windshield clear.
The hard cover's hinges work independently of the hinges in the wiper frame, which allows the blade to flex so that it conforms perfectly to the shape of your windshield. Because the wiper makes consistent contact with your windshield along the length of the blade, it can completely remove sleet, rain, and snow with no missed spots.
The cover has an aerodynamic shape to resist the effects of wind. This ensures that the blade resists being lifted by the wind and maintains even pressure on your windshield at all times.
The natural rubber squeegee is made with proprietary processing techniques to ensure that it outperforms the competition. And the squeegee has a graphite coating to make sure the wiper glides smoothly across your windshield. This graphite coating helps to eliminate skipping, which can leave behind a washboard pattern of water. It also helps keep your wiper quiet so you won't be annoyed by squealing or chattering sounds.
To install the blade, rotate the connector piece on the blade to fit the type of connector that's on your car. (Some wiper arm styles require that you replace the standard connector on the blade with one of the included alternate connectors.) Then clip the wiper blade onto the car's connector. The wiper blade will click into place so that you know it's securely installed.

How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Michelin ultra stealth wiper blades on our 2001 Jeep Compass. So both wiper blades are the same, with the only difference being the length of the blade itself. Your vehicle is gonna require a 24 and a 18 inch blade. The packaging, as you see, is pretty solid. Gotta give it a little jiggle there and it's gonna come with adapters, 'cause these blades, they cover a wide variety of vehicles. However, on your Compass, you actually have the J Hook style, so these guys are just snap in.
It's a pretty quick install. So let's take a look a little bit closer at the wiper blade itself. I mean, it's a real solid, rigid rubber seal. It's supposed to be all season. As far as what our neighbors are saying online, that's very highly rated on etrailer.com.
So people who've actually used these in real world environments say it's great for ice, snow, and rain. So let me show you how to install it on your vehicle. So we're gonna remove the old blades by using a screwdriver to give us a little assistance. We're gonna get a gap in here and just kind of pop this open. Being cautious to not scratch the arm on our wiper.
We're gonna push this tab in that's underneath. We can kind of get it freed from the assembly. And then once we slide it up, we can just unhook underneath here. So I'm gonna grab our new 24 inch, on the driver's side, you're gonna use the 24 inch blade and we'll install it on this side. You're gonna take your 24 inch blade and you have a channel in here where you're gonna line it up with your hook and it'll just click into place.
And from there you can replace your, and now you've replaced one of your blades. I'm gonna do it over on the passenger side and we'll make sure we can see clearly when we're out there on the road. So overall, if I wasn't shooting a video, showing you how to install it, just going from package to the windshield, these are gonna be some of the easier installs for wiper blades. In general, I would say there's, they're pretty solid. So now you can keep your windshield clear and you have clear roads ahead, with your wiper blades. The wipers work very well in all conditions.

I purchased two windshield wiper blades for my Chevy Equinox from etrailer because they had the best price and the items would be shipped quickly. I'm a Prime member of that large online retail site and their in stock blades wouldn't ship for 2 weeks+. I received my blades in a very reasonable time and my car is happy. Thank you.
Everything looks good. Easy to install. It's a beautiful sunny day so no test for the wiper blades yet but I have great confidence in the Michelin name. Good value as well.
I haven't used these wipers in the rain yet, but they fit well and are of good quality. The help I received at etrailer was excellent . They answered my questions and helped me with my order, the shipping was quick and the wipers were packaged well. I would defiantly recommend etrailer and will be using them again.

Could not have asked for a better experience. They had the product I was looking for and the prices, including shipping, was several dollars cheaper than [online]. Product was delivered on the date they said it would be and was fast, 2 days.

The wiper blades seem great. They were easy to install. It hasn't rained or snowed yet. But they work fine with the windshield washer. I was surprised that they took a week before shipping, but UPS delivered on time, and my old wiper blades were still operational!

I really liked them but had to replace them after someone messed with them a prank factory wipers from the dealership not nearly as good. so it goes.

These are great, just installed. Haven't used them yet in a snow storm, hoping they work as well as the 5 year old pair they replaced.
Much better than my original wipers. No more skipping
