Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Pacbrake Alpha HD rear axle double convoluted airbag suspension kit. Now, this kit has been designed to fit your 2007 and newer Sprinters, the 3500 and the 4500 with the dual rear wheel models, and this is also gonna work with both the two and four-wheel drives. I do wanna point out, as you see there on your screen, this is not gonna fit the single rear wheel models, it's not going to fit the eSprinter models, and it's not going to fit models with ride height sensors, just so you're aware of all that up front. As you know, when the load gets heavy and your Sprinter needs more than just those factory rear springs hanging on for dear life, these airbags are going to help you out. They're gonna add up to 5,000 pounds of rear axle support, so they're gonna help keep your Sprinter level and steady even when your trailer might be loaded or the cargo area in your Sprinter is packed and the miles are long. With a kit like this, you're not gonna have to worry about rear end sag throwing off of your braking or your steering, or your headlights pointing up to the sky instead of the road where they should be. Now, every hull is gonna be different. That's why these air springs give you full control over the ride height and firmness with adjustable air pressure from five to 100 PSI.

So, if you're hauling a fifth wheel or a full bed of gravel, you can crank up the pressure, and then, when you're unloaded and you're heading home, you can drop that pressure back down for a softer ride. With these manual inflation valves, they're tuning your suspension for the day's work. It's gonna be pretty straightforward. Extreme hauling does demand extreme durability. These springs are built with 1" thick corrosion-resistant end caps, which are, you can't see because they do have them kind of loosely assembled, here.

But the bags are also reinforced with 20 internal support wires for maximum strength under that heavy load. And then, you get these heavy-duty roll plates at the bottom and the top, here. That's gonna help protect the bags from chafing, and they're gonna help extend the life of your airbags. And then, these powder-coated steel brackets are gonna fight back against rust, road salt, and rough seasons. And so, if it's bitter cold or you have scorching heat or mud-slick job sites, this system is made to outlast whatever the road gives you, mile after mile and load after load.

These precision laser-cut brackets are designed to bolt cleanly to your Sprinter's existing mounting points. You're not gonna have to worry about welding or drilling into your frame. You're just gonna install these with the included hardware that you see here on my table before me. And then, this kit is designed to work with your setup today and wherever your upgrades may take you tomorrow. With this, you're gonna be able to inflate manually with the standard air vaves out, air valves, rather, right out of the box, so no extra parts are gonna be needed. But if you already have an onboard compressor, this kit's gonna connect easily to most existing setups. And then, if you're planning for an in-cab wireless controller sometime down the road, that's not gonna be an issue, either, because the foundation with this kit is already built in, making it very easy to expand your control options when you're ready. Again, the load support is gonna be up to 5,000 pounds of additional leveling support, but just so you're aware of the fact, air springs do not actually increase your Sprinter's weight carrying capacity, so you wanna make sure that you're not exceeding your manufacturer's recommended weight limit.
