Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at these Hellwig Ez-990 Helper Springs. Now these helper springs are going to fit numerous different types of vehicles so please take advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com. These custom helper springs with a load leveling capacity of 2000 pounds are going to upgrade your factory leaf springs installing above your vehicle's rear factory leaf springs to reduce sway and body roll while preventing sagging when towing or hauling different loads, they're going to extend the life of your factory suspension, tires, and brakes and these springs will flex with your leaf springs to limit bouncing while providing optimal stability. Now these U-bolts can be adjusted to suit different loads.

The driver's and passenger's sides can be adjusted independently for uneven loads. And these springs are made here in the USA of a durable steel construction which is going to ensure long lasting performance. And they feature a silver vein hammer tone powder coat finish, that's going to help resist corrosion. And this is again, a bolt-on installation above your vehicle's rear factory leaf springs. The step bracket style leaf avoids contact with factory hardware and the mounting hardware is included.

And as you can see, I have assembled the U-bolts and the hardware just to kind of give you an idea of where the hardware's gonna go on the springs when you are installing these. Instructions are included to walk you through the installation process. And again, these do have a weight capacity of 2000 pounds. However, be aware that these helper springs will not actually increase your vehicle's weight carrying capacity. And also, one final note I wanna make.

These are not going to be compatible with vehicles that have composite or plastic leaf springs. Because of the durability and the robust nature of these springs, they could potentially crack or damage your composite or plastic leaf springs. So again, if your vehicle does have composite or plastic leaf springs, these helper springs are not going to be compatible. So Hellwig does put a lifetime warranty on these springs.
