Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at the Sylvania 7443R Red LED ZEVO Brake Light Bulbs. Now, these highly-efficient LED bulbs are designed for use with brake lights with red lens covers, and these LEDs are gonna be a great upgrade or replacement option. And as you might know, many LED upgrades may not be street legal in your state, so it is important to check with the state regulations where you live to make sure that it's legal for you to do LED upgrades on your vehicle. The bulb type, as I mentioned, is 7443R, and the base is T20, and the dual-sided LEDs and base are going to eliminate polarity issues. These are designed for longevity with heat management and shock protection, and these bulbs are gonna be an easy installation into a standard socket.
As you notice, I am wearing gloves. It is a good idea to wear gloves or at least use a clean shop towel when replacing your light bulbs. You don't wanna transfer oils from your skin onto the bulbs or to the LEDs themselves, and some vehicles may require the use of load resistors when upgrading. Resistors help prevent hyperflash and error codes, so if you find out that your vehicle in particular will need these resistors, on your screen, I am including a part number. You can take that part number and pop it in the search field of our website.
That will take you to those resistors from Sylvania and you can add those to your order if you're in need of 'em. It is recommended to replace bulbs on both sides of your vehicle to maintain that consistent light level and color, but I think that's gonna wrap up our quick look today.
