When you need the whole bed for gear or bulky cargo, the LiteRider rolls up in seconds. Just peel it back from the Velcro seals and secure it behind the cab with the Quick Clip storage straps. The aluminum bows keep the cover supported and make rolling it up smooth and easy. Even when stored, it stays low and out of the way, so you can haul what you need without removing the cover.

Rain, snow, and road grime can ruin a load fast. The LiteRider uses double-coated, reinforced UV-blocking vinyl that stays flexible down to -40°F and resists fading in the sun. A reinforced flap at the tailgate helps keep out dirt and moisture, while the contoured powder-coated aluminum rails won’t rust. It’s built to handle all-season use without shrinking, cracking, or sagging.
Closing up the bed is quick. When you roll the cover down, the AutoLatch grabs automatically to hold it in place. For extra security, use the slide lock on the opposite side. The cover stays locked when the tailgate is locked, keeping your gear out of sight and protected. You still get full tailgate function even when the cover is closed.

Hot or cold weather can change how a soft cover fits, but the EZ-Dials at the front let you tweak the tension by hand—no tools needed. Just turn the dials up or down to get the material snug. That keeps the cover tight and smooth, cutting down on wind flap and maintaining a clean, finished look.

The LiteRider sits just 1-1/2" above the bed for a sleek Slantback profile that blends with the truck’s lines. That shape also helps air move smoothly over the tailgate to reduce drag and can improve gas mileage by up to 10 percent. The inside-rail mounting keeps stake pockets open for racks or tie-downs, adding to its clean, functional setup.

Hi Lee, Thank you for your comment. The owners manual for the cover says that if the latch system doesnt engage, then the first step is to check the side rails for height and level, referring back to a step in the initial setup process, as well as inspecting the latches for jammed or broken parts.
