With some covers you have to remove them completely to haul tall cargo. This one rolls up in seconds and stores neatly behind the cab using premium straps and clips. It sits 1-1/2" above the bed when closed and opens at the tailgate, so you can get to your gear without removing anything. Because it mounts inside the bed rails, you can still use stake pockets and rail accessories like racks or tie-downs.
When you drop the cover down, the AutoLatch II automatically engages two locks—one on each side—for a solid hold. Locking your tailgate keeps everything under the cover protected. Opening it is just as simple: pull the release cord and the cover rolls up with one hand.
The black vinyl top is UV-resistant and double-coated to hold its shape in heat, cold, and sun. It stays flexible down to -40 °F and won’t shrink or fade. The Element weather seal at the cab and the reinforced vinyl flap at the tailgate help block rain, snow, and dirt so your bed stays dry through changing weather.
Keeping the cover tight is easy with the XT-Dial adjuster—just turn the dial to get the right tension without tools. Powder-coated aluminum rails and bows resist rust and support the cover while reducing wind drag, which can improve gas mileage by up to 10 percent. Six aircraft-grade clamps hold the rails firmly inside the bed for a clean, stable fit.
The signature Slantback design angles toward the tailgate for a streamlined, finished look. It adds a bit of style while keeping airflow smooth over the bed, combining function with a sleek profile that matches the truck’s lines.

My cover has held up and worked well over the last year. I apply 303 Protectant about once a quarter keeping the cover looking new. I would buy this cover again finding it well worth the price for the quality of the product. I do have two minor comments that would improve the cover. First, the pull string used to release the rear latches feels flimsy for the amount of pressure required to unlatch the rear locks. Second, when I transport a small load e.g. push lawn mower secured at the tail gate of the truck I wish there was away to roll up the cover and secure it about 13 of the way and secure it so it doesn’t unroll and flap while driving. These are minor work arounds that don’t take away from the product.

I am glad you are liking the cover! Besides the hiccups installing (I have experienced this as well with my older ranger)but after that the fitment looks really nice on your truck!
