When the pavement turns to solid ice, these V-bar “icebreaker” studs go to work. Each stud is set into the twist links, so they dig in and break through ice instead of sliding over it. You get stronger bite and better control when traction is at its worst, whether you’re climbing a slick hill or easing down an icy grade.

Heavy snow can stop you fast if your tires can’t grab onto something solid. The ladder-style cross chains on this setup give you that extra edge. They deliver a steady pull that helps you get going in deep snow and hold traction when braking or stopping on packed drifts.
These chains are made from low-carbon steel, which means they’re built to handle rough conditions and still hold their shape. The 0.312" (8 mm) thick links are tough enough for the repeated shock of icy roads or rutted snow tracks. You can depend on them for reliable traction all winter long.
Once these chains are tightened down, they stay put. The manual connection method means there are no cams or levers to pop loose when you back up or cross uneven ground. For an even tighter fit, rubber or chain adjusters (sold separately) are recommended.
Each set includes chains for the driver’s and passenger’s sides of a dual-tire axle, so you’re fully equipped for both sides. A reusable canvas bag keeps everything organized between uses. With a 30 mph maximum speed rating, these chains are built for steady, confident driving when winter hits hardest.
These chains fit the following tire sizes:

Had to use them on a hill on the property. Went on okay, turned the Ram 3500 into a tank.

Thanks for including the video Cody! I hope the firewood helped keep you and yours warm because that sure does look extra chilly! Our snow is finally starting to melt in Missouri.

The chains have worked well. we had a lot of ice this winter and truck never got stuck while plowing. Love the extra traction of chains on both of the duals.
