When you’re faced with icy grades or need to muscle through deep snow, these Titan Chain alloy snow chains deliver dependable traction. The square link design digs in for strong grip and steady braking on ice, while the ladder pattern gives you smooth starts and stops without spinning out. It’s a simple, proven setup that keeps you in control whether you’re on a plowed road or packed snow.
These chains are made from manganese nickel alloy steel, which stays tough in freezing temperatures and resists wear in rough conditions. The zinc finish helps keep rust at bay after slush and salt exposure. You can rely on them for repeated use through harsh winters without worrying about the links stretching or corroding.
Each set is made for dual tire setups, so both tires get equal traction when you’re hauling loads or navigating steep climbs. The ladder pattern keeps the chains centered for balanced contact across both tires, helping you maintain control when pulling out of snowbanks or easing down icy slopes.
Installation is straightforward—just drape the chains, connect the ends, and snug them up. There are no cams or levers to pop loose when backing up or crossing uneven ground. For a tighter fit, rubber or chain adjusters are recommended. Once they’re set, these chains stay secure so you can focus on the drive, not constant retightening.
Whether you’re plowing, towing, or driving remote routes, these chains are made to perform. At 0.281" (7 mm) thick, they’re strong enough for the weight and torque of heavy use, with a 30 mph max speed rating that keeps you within safe operating limits. The included tote bag makes it easy to stow them away once the job’s done.

Adam: What's going on everybody Adam here, with etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Titan Chain snow tire chains for your wide based tires. So what we have here is a ladder pattern style chain. We are going to have some square links. They're going to form cross chains here, and it is going to be a relatively more aggressive style chain. Just because the links are going to be about seven millimeters thick.
So, these are pretty hefty guys here. Also, they do have a manganese-nickel, alloy steel coating. So they are going to be extra hard and resist against that corrosion extra good. So, this is going to wear away relatively evenly too, because we do have the same shaped links throughout the whole entire chain, which is great. One thing that we do need with these is a rubber tensioner, so just go ahead and grab one of those as well. That's just going to pretty much suck up all the rest of that slack.
So, we don't have cam tensioners here, but these, I didn't have any issue getting a good fitment on this tire here.Another thing that I like is just the looks of it, to be honest. I like the coating that they put on these chains here, just because it just looks cool. That is just my simple opinion about it. They do come in a pair of two. So, if you do want to just put them on the back tires, all you got to really do is just grab one set of the chains.
But if you plan on doing some extreme off-roading, we can go ahead and grab two and put them on all four of our tires. They do come in a little tiny bag like this, but they can all fit in there and you still have a decent amount of grip to be able to hold them and carry them to wherever you need. These aren't the best bags, but there's definitely worse canvas bags that I have seen in the past. The best one is definitely by Pewag. They have a really, really thick bag, but this one definitely comes in second, just because I think this one's going to last a little bit longer than some of those more fragile bags that I've been experienced with in the past.Well, everyone, that just about does it for our look at the Titan Chain snow tire chains for your wide based tires.
