Hi there, I'm Victoria and I am apart of the etrailer Reviews team. I recently had the opportunity to try out the Napier Lite Camping Tent Bundle. I thought it was super neat and convenient that the sleeping bags were included with this kit. That would save time and money in the long run. However, the thing I like most about the Napier Tent was how simple it was to set up and put away. What added to the simplicity of use, was that Napier didn't compromise on durability of the material they used for this tent and it's still super light weight. This tent really did have an eye catching design and roomy layout as well. Above everything else, my favorite thing about this tent is that Napier plants a tree for every tent purchased.
My name is Aris and I am an etrailer employee that had the pleasure of reviewing the Napier ground tent, the Napier truck bed tent with link and the Napier SUV tent. I really love the concept of these products. With the truck bed tent, I love that you are able to sleep in the bed of the truck and can add a mattress or whatever you need to make it comfortable! It is perfect if there are just one or two people camping and a great way to not have to sleep on the ground in a traditional tent. It has a great price point and the link addition to it is an awesome concept. I will say, I experienced the SUV tent first and with all of the room in that, I did think that the link portion would be included with the truck bed tent. I am not that excited that the link extension costs more than the truck bed tent but I also understand that it can be used independently. I still just wish that it would have been a little less expensive and included with the truck bed tent but overall it is still a pretty good price. The Napier SUV tent was my favorite!!! I loved that it has rooms! A small mud or entry room, the main room and then the SUV portion. I think this is an ingenious design. I will say, if you are not an avid camper, then the price may stun you a little. Overall, I think it is well worth it for the family that regularly camps! Although my back issues make the ground tent my least favorite, I will say that I LOVE that it comes with not one, but two sleeping bags! That was an amazing idea and hats off to the person that thought to do that! Over all, all of the tents are pretty good quality and not bad on the price points. The added sleeping bags with the ground tent, not having to sleep on the ground with the truck bed tent and all the features of the SUV tent makes them well worth the investment!
Jesse here, I am an etrailer.com employee. The other day I got the chance to check out the Napier 2 person tent. At first, I thought it was a one person tent because the carrying bag was quite small and the tent had the overall look and shape of the small one person tents. As soon as we opened it up and extended the poles I was surprised at how wide the base of the tent spread out and how tall it was inside. Most people are not standing up inside this tent, but there is easily room for a full grown adult to sit upright and not feel claustrophobic. Setup took a matter of minutes which is always something I look at when comparing tent brands. There were only 3 poles and they are color coded so no guessing games.
To me, this tent will be perfect for the occasional weekend trip, or for pack trips where you are carrying your tent with you on your back. It could be a nice roomy 1 person tent, or a cozy two person tent for two adults. If you're sharing this with another adult you'd better be good friends though haha.
I admit that I own a much "less expensive" generic tent and I can easily see how the Napier tents are better designed and more durable than what I have. Once my current tent is no more, I have a very solid and affordable option here for a replacement.
