Today we'll be taking a look at the dog ear for ramp doors on enclosed trailers. This is going to be just a little piece to weld onto the ramp door for your enclosed trailer to help attach the cable from your spring assembly. That spring assembly would be sold separately. You can find those right here at etrailer.com to replace any of those parts. This is made of a steel construction. The base of that little dog ear piece is about three inches wide. The one I have here is a little bit longer, about three and an eighth. The top is about three quarters of an inch wide.
And then it's about two inches tall. The thickness is just about an eighth of an inch, and the diameter of the hole at the top is three eighths. It does come with a quantity of one. So you'll just get the one dog ear for your ramp, and it is made in the USA.That's going to do it for our look at the dog ear for ramp doors on enclosed trailers.
Have not used them yet, but they look like they will work for what I am going to use them for.
