Loose batteries cause wiring problems and shorts in your boat or RV. This tray fits 29 or 31 series batteries and keeps them secure in tight spaces, so you do not have to worry about bounce or losing power when you are on the water or on the road.
Have you ever gotten to the lake and had your trolling motor fail? Or you set up camp and your lights cut out? Sometimes it's not an issue of wiring or equipment failure. Sometimes those shorts happen because the battery bounced just enough to pull a connection loose. A cracked battery tray or weak strap can turn into hours of rewiring, rescheduling your trip, and rethinking how secure your setup really is. This tray is made to prevent all of that. With four bolt-down points, it mounts solidly to your frame, floor, or platform. It doesn't twist under pressure and it doesn't shift when the road turns rough. The included strap uses a quick-release buckle that locks tight and stays that way. It doesn't stretch or slip loose over time, which means your battery stays where you put it.
The base is molded from durable polypropylene, which holds up to temperature changes, UV exposure, and the kind of jolts that come from movement. It's strong without being bulky and resilient without cracking under pressure. Whether you're building out a van, rewiring a trailer, or adding a second battery to your boat, this tray is built to stay in place no matter where the road takes you.

Hi everyone, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today, we're looking at our Atwood battery tray with hold down strap for 29 and 31 group Marine or RV batteries. So folks, those series batteries are what this is gonna fit. This is going to lock in tight for those rough roads, terrain, and whatnot and again, you have the strap here included with the buckle so you can strap it down and keep it nice and secure in the box itself. The box itself inside is seven inches wide by 12 and seven eighths long. As you can see, you got one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight holes in the bottom.
That's gonna be for mount it down tight. You would have to use four of those eight holes and locking strap to prevent this from shifting. There is no hardware included, that's something you. They either have to already have or source locally or purchase separately. And this will fit with most other battery trays and things maybe wouldn't.
It's compact enough, it should fit in like tight RV bays, maybe even some of those vans, cargo vans, trailer frames, trailers, enclosed trailers, boat compartments, pretty much wherever you can fit it. And it's gonna stay placed once you get it bolted in place. It is a hard poly base, so it's gonna hold up to heat. It can bounce, it's not gonna break salt, all those kind of things so you don't have to worry about it cracking mid-season due to temperature changes or anything like that. So this, again, will be a great option, and you could fit, again, those 29 and 31 series batteries up to about 10 and a half inches tall.
And that should wrap it up for our quick look together, I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
