Hi, everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today we'll be taking a look at our Classic Accessories custom fit spare tire cover. This is gonna be a cover for your spare tires on your RVs, your trucks, your cars or even your trailers. While it's nice and sunny outside right now, we do have a cold storm coming in later in the week. So I wanna make sure that the spare tires on our trailers are nice and protected, so that way, even if you have rain, snow, ice, hail coming down, these will be protected and ready for when you actually need them.

So this is made of a water repellent and water resistant vinyl. So even if it's raining outside, as the water pours down, it just falls right off. The snow white colored fabric means it does get dirty very quickly, but it's also easy to clean, as you just wipe it off. We have an opening on the bottom. This is actually just to make it easier to install but also help maintain that water resistance.

So this is gonna be what I call a vented bottom. So as it's open, it allows moisture to escape so that mildew doesn't grow on the inside, but it overlaps, so it prevents moisture from coming back in. And with spare tire covers, another thing that I'm always conscious of is how much of the tire does it actually cover So taking a look at the back, look at where it sits. This is a custom fit, so it's designed for this size of a tire and it covers most of it, but not all of it. If that's gonna be a big issue for you, you may want a larger, universal fit cover that goes smaller in the back.

This, I think, is still good though because it's still provides protection for the tire itself. While that outside has that vinyl, on the inside we have this soft backing to help protect your spare tire. Now, one of the big perks of this tire cover series is the options for sizes. So it is a custom fit. Please make sure you get the correct model for the correct tire size.

For example, here on our boat trailer, we have a smaller spare tire than the one we we're looking at earlier. This is size 175 80R13. Double check the tire size on your tire. It's printed on the side wall. And then you can follow our product pages and match it up with the correct model size. With this having that elasticized back hem, it's very easy to install as long as you have the right size. So let's take a look at that process. You're gonna have this elastic band around your tire cover and then you also have this opening. So what I recommend doing is just having the opening on the bottom, that way, if it does rain, it just goes down. Right, so just fit this around your spare tire. Since this is a custom fit, you should have it lined up around your tire and then make sure that it overlaps on the bottom or on the end, wherever you have that opening. And just like that, you've installed this around your tire. I do recommend having it sit out in the sun for a little bit, just to smooth out those wrinkles, but that's all there is to it. So my personal thoughts about this spare tire cover is I definitely see it looking good on certain vans and certain vehicles, especially a sprinter van. With that snow white color, it would match the trim of those vans very well. Now for trailers, like what I have on here, it still looks good. It's just up to you if you want that snow white matching your trailer. If you want something that looks a bit more rugged, we have other options.
