Hi, everyone, Steve here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our Pacbrake Alpha HD Pro Airbag Suspension Kit for the rear axle, rated at 5,000 pounds. Now, folks, this is a custom-fit application. Make sure you're double-checking our Fit Guide here at etrailer.com to be sure you're getting the right parts for your specific setup. Now, these are gonna include precision brackets that are gonna bolt to your factory attachment points, and everything here has a nice, elegant powder-coat finish on it. If you're not familiar with Pacbrake, they've been around for years and years.
They've been mainly coming out of the semi tractor trailer world, so everything made with the highest standards, highest quality, just like you would see on those big, big trucks. Same thing here, same quality. They didn't skimp on anything. I'm actually really impressed with the makeup, the way it comes packaged. You're gonna get everything that you see before me, and there's an expanded view of all of it laid out on the table as well.
So, again, I've got these kinda mocked up today just to give you a little better look from the front and everything of what they could potentially look like when they're installed. Load support, up to 5,000 pounds of additional load-leveling support. And again, everything here is just kinda lightly put on right now. You have your fitting here, that's just a push-in fitting for your airline hose. There is no compressor kit, onboard kit included with this kit.
However, you can get that separately or you can upgrade later on down the road when you're ready to. These can have support between five PSI and 100 PSI, depending on what you set it at, and depending on your needs. They're gonna improve your ride stability by reducing rear sag, sway and bounce, and giving you just a better control and comfort of your ride whenever you're driving with your gear and everything. Now, just remember, folks, these do not add any support or add any weight-carrying capacity, rather, they support the weight that's in the truck already, so you're not adding 5,000 pounds to your suspension, you're giving 5,000 pounds of support on that suspension. So, this will get your ride height if you're sagging in the back, back up to level, keeping your headlights straight on the road where it's safe, and keeping pressure back on the front axle where it needs to be for traction and those kinda things as well.

Installed this past weekend. Haven't towed with it yet. Nice construction and finish. I have a 2025 Chevrolet Trail Boss 2500HD and the spacers are NOT needed. Measurement for needing the spacers in 7" and above between jounce cup and contact pad. My space was 5.5" to 6".

Direct bolt on, plug and play
The product is a great product. After installation was completed and the air added to the air suspension, it raised the rear end of the van about 2-3 inches.A very nice improvement.
Installation instructions definitely need better quality diagrams.
Easy to install and work just as I had expected. Great finish on brackets and quality hardware. Easy to follow instructions. Highly recommend these airbags!
The 2" spacers are definitely not needed for a Trail Boss. I could barely get them in, and now the ride is super stiff. Now I have to get back under the truck and remove the spacers. Not looking forward to that. It was very difficult installation, for no reason.
