Features to know about

Stay Level and in Control: Up to 1,000 lbs of Front Suspension Support

When a heavy plow or front-mounted load pushes your suspension down, steering and braking can feel off. Firestone Coil-Rite air springs add at least 500 lbs and at most 1,000 lbs of load-leveling support right inside your front coil springs. This extra cushion keeps your vehicle level, improves handling, and helps maintain even tire contact with the road. With better balance up front, steering feels more natural and headlight aim stays where it should.

Fine-Tune for Every Load: Adjustable Air Pressure from 5 psi to 35 psi

Not every job or road condition is the same. With adjustable air pressure from 5 psi to 35 psi, you can dial in the firmness to match what you’re carrying. Add air to level off-center loads or drop pressure for a smoother ride when unloaded. Individual inflation valves let you adjust each side separately for precise control when gear or equipment isn’t evenly distributed.

Smooth Out Rough Roads: Better Stability and Ride Comfort

Heavy loads and rough roads can make a truck bounce or bottom out. The Coil-Rite springs absorb shock between the axle and frame, softening the hit over bumps and dips. That added stability helps cut down on body roll and road harshness, so even when the front end is working hard, the ride stays controlled and comfortable.

Built to Last: Durable Polyurethane Construction

These air springs are made from elastic polyurethane that’s tough enough for years of use under load and in tough conditions. They install inside your existing coil springs using custom-fit brackets and hardware included in the kit, with air lines routed for easy access to manual inflation valves at the bumper. Replaceable single air springs are available if maintenance is ever needed, keeping the system reliable over the long haul.

A little tricky to get inside the spring. Hose clamps made it doable. Would purchase again if I’m in need of replacements. etrailer provided their usual excellent customer service!

by:

These air bags came with great instructions and I followed them but I also added a hose clamp over the bag to squeeze them down smaller and I had both bags installed in les than 45 minutes I was greatly pleased with the results. Add another 30 minutes to finish routing my air lines and adding the fittings. Very, very happy with this purchase!! Thanks etrailer for a great price.

by:

Bags are good quality but the fitting that screws on the airbag the air line hooks to broke so I am unable to use the air lines

This is my first time using air springs on the front of my truck. They work well and were easy to install.

Reviewing products through etrailer is easy. etrailer sells top quality products at very affordable pricing. What you get at etrailer that you can't find at other companies is the BEST customer service you can find. I started using etrailer when I had an issue with another Firestone distributor. When I called Firestone direct to get the parts I needed that the other vendor would not sell to me (or even acknowledge my existence) Firestone referred me to etrailer as their #1 distributor. Not only did I get the parts shipped direct from the manufacturer, but they arrived in 3 days. I have placed more than one order and without fail have had the best service. Thank you etrailer !

by:

Pop all the time. I get about 6 months out of a set before I have to replace them... Good quality, just poor longevity

by:

They seem to be working pretty.Well, the only thing I didn't like about the kit.Is a had to separate fittings did not have a t to tie them in together So I bought.
A t to put in line

I have a small farm and to commute to the farm I drive about 200 interstate highway miles and 12 miles of bumpy dirt road with somewhat heavy equipment, my front shocks had to be replace twice a year and also right front off road tire on my F-250, after placement of the Firestone air ride helper(self doer, easy no more than an hour of work) my front new off road tires are wearing out like it should be, evenly (no bumps), no more expensive replacement of parts, and when it comes to handling on high speed interstate and city everyday commute, I'm very very satisfied. It also raised the front end of the truck about 1/2 inch, makes it look awesome. From my perspective on this product, no negatives remarks, for me all positive rating, highly recommended.

by:

Absolutely! The best thing I ever did for my 2023 Ford super duty F350 for plowing

by:

Just what I needed for my F250. Easy to install. I needed something to lift the front suspension while not towing or having a heavy load in the bed. Great price.

by:

Easy installation did not even have to take wheels off race truck by frame the stretched out coil spring slit bag inside of coil hook up airline finished couldn’t be easier

  • Front Suspension Enhancement For 2021 Ram 1500 Classic With Snow Plow
Hello Lawrence, thanks for reaching out. Beefing up the front suspension of your truck is definitely a good idea if you plan on adding a snowplow, and I do have a good option for you. That said, there are no front air bag kits made for the 2021 Ram 1500 Classic 4x4. What I recommend instead is the Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System # TDF15004B. These are 4,000 lb capacity rubber jounce-style springs and they will do a great job supporting the front of the truck while you plow....

  • What Complete Air Bags Can I Control from the Cab of My 2021 Ford F-350 Super Duty with In-Bed Hitch
Since you are transporting a fifth-wheel trailer, I assume you are looking for rear-axle air bags. We only carry Firestone-brand Ride Rite air bags that will work with 4-wheel drive models of 2021 Ford F-350 Super Duties with an in-bed hitch. That is the Firestone Rebel # F95FV. Apart from the 7,500-pound load-leveling weight capacity, the springs help prevent sagging while towing. They are also 100% made in the U.S.A. As far as compatibility, these air bags work with a fifth-wheel hitch...

  • Best Air Bag Kit For 2022 Ford F350 Diesel DRW With 6,000 lb Truck Camper
Hello Sivan, thanks for getting in touch. Adding air bags is definitely a good call if you are unhappy with your Timbrens. The air bags will allow you to fine-tune the suspension to the perfect mix of ride leveling and ride quality. Then you can also retain the factory ride when you aren't hauling your camper. The 7500 kit is definitely the way to go, and for that I recommend the following: - Air Lift LoadLifter 7500 XL Ultimate Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle # AL86KV This is made specifically...

  • Recommended Front and Rear Air Bags for a 2015 Ford F-350
I do have an option for you but the only type of air bags/springs we offer for a 2015 Ford F-350 are designed to aid with towing or hauling heavy loads. For this, I recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2597 for the rear and the Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F4160 for the front. The rear air bags install between the leaf springs and frame and the front air bags install inside the coil springs. These kits are not designed to raise the height of the...

  • Front Suspension Enhancements for a Lifted 2015 Ford F-250
I do have an option for you but the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs part # SSF-111-40 will not work as is if the contact point has changed as a result from the lift kit on your 2015 Ford F-250. The best options for you so long as you have the factory coil springs are with the Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F4160 for 4x4 and part # F4101 for 4x2 or the Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs part # CSS-1094F for 4x2. If you no longer have the factory coil springs then...

  • Front And Rear Air Bags For A 2014 Ford F350 Diesel Crew Cab With In Bed Gooseneck Hitch
Thanks for all of the info I can definitely get you set up. For the rear air bag kit I recommend the Firestone ride rite # F2597. This is a 5,000 capacity air bag and the kit will be compatible with your in bed gooseneck hitch. For a front air bag we have the Firestone coil helpers # F4160. This air bag installs inside the factory coil spring, and add additional stability to the front springs. I imagine with both of these installed, you will be extremely close to level, if not perfectly...

  • Recommended Front Suspension Enhancement for 2014 Ford F-350 With 4-1/2 Inch Lift and Snow Plow
Assuming you have the factory coil springs your best option will be the Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs # F4160. These are for the 4WD, if you have a 2WD then the # F4101 would be the correct part. These provide 1,000 lbs of load-leveling support by supporting your front coil springs. They will help to improve steering, braking, and headlight aim while reducing wear on your suspension. If you do not have the factory coil springs, your only option will be the Timbren Front Suspension...

  • Will the Firestone F4160 Front Air Springs fit an F-350 With an Aftermarket Leveling Kit?
I can confirm that the Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs # F4160 will fit a 2019 Ford F-350. However, these are designed for use with stock suspension and we cannot say whether or not they can be used with aftermarket parts. This does not mean they will not fit, but again, I just cannot say they will for sure.

  • Recommended Front Air Springs For 2005 F-250 Diesel With Coil Springs
The suspension kit I recommend for your 2005 F-250 4X4 is the Firestone Coil-Rite Air helper Springs # F4160. This kit installs in your front coil springs and includes the air springs brackets, air springs, air line, hardware, and separate valves. Using a suspension enhancement system like this does not increase the load-carrying capacity of your truck, and is designed to be used with a suspension system in good working order. To be able to adjust the amount of air you put in your springs...

  • Recommended Front Air Helper Springs For A 2021 Ford F-450 Cab And Chassis
I recommend the Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs # F4160 for your front axle on your 2021 Ford F-450 Cab and Chassis. I like these springs over the others that we offer because they have a more durable design, which is constructed out of a elastic polyurethane that will provide you with years of comfort and stability. The springs have a load leveling capacity of 500 pounds (at most 1,000 pounds). If you're needing air springs for your rear axle, you can install the Firestone Ride-Rite...

We have the Firestone Coil-Rite kit part # F4160 as a fit for the front axle of your 2019 Ford F-350 which will work great to support the suspension due to the weight of your snow plow. Firestone is the industry leader for air bags because of how well they are made and how long they last.

  • Can You Control all 4 Air Springs On a 2021 Ford F-450 With a Wireless Compressor System?
I will need to know exactly which compressor system you have on your 2021 Ford F-450. Typically the compressors will have either a single path or dual path controller. While this will allow you to control the Rear Air Springs # F35FV separately on a dual path if you combined it with the Front Air Springs # F4160 you would only be able to control the front and rear separately rather than all 4 corners with a wireless controller. With a Wireless system you would have to add a second dual...

I do have a solution to help with the sag in your tow vehicle as well as with sway control for your enclosed car hauler, but unfortunately 28-1/2" arms on a Weight Distribution (WD) system is the shortest that we have to offer. Most people like to use a sway control like the Reese Friction Sway Control Kit # 83660 which can be used without a WD system. You will just need a way to mount the small hitch ball. You can use the Reese Sway-Control Bracket # RP26003 if you have a 2" receiver...
