Features to Know About

Fits Where Other Panels Can't

You've measured your roof, moved things around, and still can't find space for a standard panel. That's where this slim design makes a difference. It fits alongside roof racks, vents, and gear without forcing compromises. Instead of giving up on solar or reworking your setup, you can finally add the power you need and make full use of the space you already have.

Reliable Power Through Changing Conditions

Not every campsite comes with perfect sunshine. Early mornings, passing clouds, and shaded spots are part of the experience. With efficient monocrystalline cells and a 16 bus bar design, this panel keeps working when light conditions shift. You can count on steady charging, which means fewer interruptions and more time enjoying where you are instead of checking your battery levels.

Built for the Road Ahead

Travel takes you through all kinds of weather, from dusty roads to sudden storms. This panel is tested to handle wind, snow, and hail, with tempered glass and a strong aluminum frame that hold up over time. Waterproof connectors help keep everything working behind the scenes, so you can focus on the drive, the destination, and everything in between.

Simple Setup, Flexible Expansion

Getting started with solar should feel doable. Pre-drilled mounting holes and plug-and-play connectors take the guesswork out of installation, so you can move from planning to powering up without frustration. As your setup evolves, this panel can be wired in series or parallel, making it easy to build a system that grows with your trips and the way you like to travel.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look together at this RICH SOLAR MEGA 100 Slim Solar Panel. Now, as you probably know, finding the right solar package for your rig can be stressful, with all those questions about wattage, amp hours, panel dimensions, conversion formulas, amperage ratings, and on, and on, and on. Fortunately, we can take all that stress off of your plate. On your screen, I am including our link to our Solar Calculator here at etrailer.com. And you can use that by just answering a few questions that it presents to you.

And then, after you answer those questions, our Solar Calculator is going to find exactly what you need. So, again, there's a link there. You can take that link, pop it into the address bar of your browser, and that will take you to our calculator that we have put together for you. Now, if you're looking for a compact but powerful solar option for your RV, your van, overlanding setup, or even a boat, this slim 100-watt monocrystalline panel is gonna be a great option for you to consider. This is built around a 16 busbar solar cell design, which basically means that it captures sunlight more efficiently, and it keeps producing, even when the lighting isn't always ideal, kind of like on those cloudy days, early mornings, or late afternoons.

Now, one of the biggest perks of this size, the panel is long and narrow. And let me go ahead and give you some measurements here as best as I can so you can see. So, I've got this kind of balancing on my table here. So, looking at the length, hopefully you can see there, we're sitting right at 50 inches long. And then looking at the width, bottom to top, I'm gonna call it at 15 3/4 inches.

And then the thickness is gonna be right at about 1 1/4 inches. So, really slim design, it's not gonna take up a whole lot of space at all. But despite its compact, slim footprint, it's still gonna give you reliable power and it's gonna work on both on-grid and your off-grid adventure. So it's gonna be flexible, really, no matter how you plan on using this. Durability is a major selling point with solar panels as well.

And this goes through 30 in-house quality tests, including UV, humidity, freeze, thermal cycling, and it's a PID resistant with double electroluminance inspections to catch any hidden defects. This is certified to handle tough conditions, and strong winds, and heavy snow loads, and even 35-millimeter hail at nearly 60 miles per hour. The tempered anti-reflective glass and lightweight anodized aluminum frame is gonna give you even more resistance, and resistance and resilience, you could say. And I'm gonna go in for a little bit of a closer view here, just to kind of give you a view of the front. And then I want to turn this around here and show you the connection points here. Line that up. So, installation should be pretty straightforward for you. You have pre-drilled mounting holes here that are going to work with all the common hardware, whether it's Z-brackets, tilt mounts, pole mounts, or ground mounts. And then we have an included IP67 rated waterproof junction box and connectors that are going to keep everything well-sealed. And the standard solar quick connect cables make it easy to connect panels together in a series or parallel setup. So this does come with this wiring here that you see here on the junction box. It's about three feet of 12 gauge wiring. And the entire panel is relatively lightweight. It weighs a little over 13 pounds, maybe like 13 1/2 pounds or so. This is also UL-certified, so it does meet the industry safety and performance standards. So overall, it's slim, but yet rugged and it's high efficiency, and it's gonna be great if you're looking for a reliable solar performance, but you don't have a whole lot of mounting space to work with. Hardware is not included with this, so that's something that you would have to source yourself that will work best for your particular application. Now, we do have a lot of other solar options available here at etrailer from RICH SOLAR and from others. So, if this isn't exactly what you're looking for, don't hesitate to look around on our site or give us a call. We do wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you need. Well, again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
