Video Transcript for Replacement Crossbar for Exposed Racks Roof Rack Review

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this replacement crossbar for the Exposed Racks Jeep JK and JK Unlimited roof racks. This one is red in color. And this will replace a damaged crossbar or it allows you to add another one to your Exposed Racks roof rack system. This will work with both soft tops and hard tops. Now, the brackets to install these are sold separately.

This is a sturdy square bar, which accommodate clicked-in and traditional clamp-on accessories. Let me zoom in and show you on the square bar. They have these square holes that go all the way through along the bar. And that's where your click-on accessories will push right into those square holes, and they lock in to place with the spring-loaded pins. To remove them, all you do then is push the spring-loaded pin in and you can remove the accessory right out of the square hole.

Now this is a rugged carbon steel construction. It has a nice red powder-coat finish on it that will stand up to the elements; and this part is made in the U.S.A. A few specs on this. This is for a quantity of one crossbar. And the last thing is really the dimensions on this.

So, the overall length, one end to the other, is right at 39 and 7/8 inches long. And the bar itself is a square bar, so it's gonna be one and a quarter inches this way by one and a quarter inches this way.
