Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the K-Source replacement side-view mirror. This is going to be a direct replacement for the driver's side factory mirror on your 2001 through 2004 Toyota Tacoma. This is modeled after the Tacoma's original look and fit. So you really shouldn't be able to tell that this is a replacement mirror.

It should look like it came with your Tacoma right from the factory. So that way you don't have to worry about that piece together from the junkyard look. Both mirrors should match, and it should have a very integrated look to it.But also the benefit of that is it is modeled after the same footprint. So should be very easy to get this installed. You're not going to have to drill any new holes or anything like that.

Basically just remove the nuts that are holding the current one in. Pull that off and put this one in, tighten it down and you're ready to go. So very easy to get installed and should look very nice with the rest of your Tacoma. Now this does have the manual mirror face adjustment.Let me spin this around for you here. So you can adjust to make sure that you're getting the right angle to see cars that are coming up beside you and make sure that the lane is clear before you pass, those sort of things.

So this is an inaudible 00:01:19 great product. It's going to be the same quality and materials as the original mirror. The front of the glass is plated with a reflective chrome. So it's going to give you a nice, clear image so you can see what's coming up. It is a flat lens, so you're not going to have to worry about any distortion or anything like that.

It's going to give you a true representation of the object size as they're coming up or as you're backing up.It does have a breakaway design. So it is going to fold in on itself if you we're to run into the side of your garage or parking post or something like that. And that's to help absorb some of that impact, help reduce the risk of breaking the mirror itself. This is a nice durable plastic housing with a black finish. So it should hold up for you for a good long time and do a good job for you. Now, for those of you who do need a little bit more reassurance that this is going to work for your setup, this is going to replace the original equipment number that you see on the screen there.So if you're looking at your owner's manual or your original mirror, you see that number somewhere, you can trust this is the exact replacement that you need. This is just the driver's side. So if you do happen to need the passenger side as well, we do also have that here @etrailer.com. Overall, I think this is going to be a really nice option to get you up and running again, to finish off the look of your vehicle, and provide that functionality and safety to make sure that you're able to see what's going on around you.
