Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this K-Source driver side replacement electric side view mirror with the heat function. Now this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2015 to 2017 Subaru Legacy and also the Subaru Legacy Outback wagon. Now on a custom fit part like this, I do like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle and it'll show you if this'll work for your application. Now this is a side view mirror.

It is a direct replacement for the driver's side factory mirror that's on your vehicle and it is modeled after the manufacturer's original look and fit. And if you notice on this one, when you do receive it, it is a durable plastic housing and it'll also come with three snap-on pieces, so you can choose what finish you want. Basically the lower piece, which would snap right in to that position will be the matte black finish. And then if you want the top piece, that can also be matte black to match it, or if you wanna change the top piece to the gloss black finish, you can see you can snap that on with the matte black on the bottom. So it does give you the choice of which finish to use.

And also those can be painted to match your vehicle if you prefer, also. This does offer the power remote capability. So you can adjust the mirror face position with the factory power controls that are inside your vehicle. And it offers the heated mirror glass, will actually clear the frost and the ice and help reduce fogging on the mirror. It does use OE-grade flat glass with first-surface plating to reflect the clear images and the front of the glass is plated with reflective chrome.

And this is a flat lens, so it does reflect the true representation of the object size in the mirror. It is a breakaway design. The mirror will fold when it's struck to prevent breakage and it is an easy, no drill installation. You can see it'll have the same footprint and mounting points as the factory mirror. It does include the three bolts to attach it and the mirror will plug into your existing electrical wiring.

Few specs on this. This part will replace the OE part number of 91036AL12A. This is for a quality of one driver's side mirror. And a couple notes on this mirror is the power remote capability and the heated glass of this mirror will work only if your vehicle already has those functions. And this mirror does not have the turn signal and it does not support the blind spot detection system.
