Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're going to be taking a quick look at the K-Source Replacement Side Mirror for the passenger side. This is a custom fit for the 1989 through 1995 Toyota pickup. If something happened to that original mirror, it got knocked off or damaged or broken, this is going to be a great way to replace that easily. It's going to have the same footprint as your original mirror and match up to the side of your vehicle. So Let us take a closer look at this and talk about some of the features.
It is going to be a manually adjusting mirror and it does swing in and out, right now I've got this flattened back but we can twist that around that way. So it would be facing rearward and you're going to be able to adjust it here at that pivot point, the actual glass itself does not adjust so it's going to be that pivot on the bracket here.The base comes as three parts, so you can get this mounted in place. It comes with the two screws to mount that up, so attach those with the base piece here. It snaps into place, a couple of little pins to align it so it goes over and kind of finishes up the look. You might have to open up these holes the way that they're manufactured there can be a little bit of overlap, if you have any issues getting those in place, you can use a little knife and cut out the excess plastic there.
Once that's in place, put your screws in and then you're going to take this piece and that's going to snap over the top and that would complete it. I am not going to push this all the way through because it does kind of catch on there and it can be a little tricky to get that back off, Since it's intended to stay in place.Our mirror face is a convex design and that gives us that greater field of view that we need for our passenger side to eliminate any kind of blind spots. It is going to be a custom fit. It should match the OE number for your Toyota pickup. That number is going to be 8791089140.

Really sturdy and heavy duty, had to move my tire for install but not relocate it on my 96 f250. Took me a little over an hour, had pre existing holes so I only had to drill two of them out.
I have previously bought these mirrors to replace my stock mirrors, only thing I noticed was only one hole lined up and the other had to be drilled out. And the hardware to bolt on I believe should be more chrome and a different style but otherwise that the mirrors are perfect and look amazing on the truck.

The mirror is not an exact replacement. The mirror support is made of thinner aluminum, overall quality not ad good as the original. The overall size is smaller, so the mirror sits lower and closer than the original on my 1993 F150. However, the mounting bracket spacing is correct, so I didn’t have to drill holes in the truck door.
Second time I have made a purchase from etrailer I bought a headache rack which has been great, recently had a side mirror broken so I had bought two to replace them and some steps for my truck very fast shipping even giving the situation of the covid-19. Excellent Packaging, Great fit on to a 2003 Toyota Tacoma extended cab. The OEM mirrors had no ability to collapse for fitting into narrow spaces or while parked, these bring that necessity to the truck along with almost 1/3 larger height (more mirror!). Total width seems to be the same from the OEM. One BIG note, these mirrors do not offer use of the interior manual adjustment arm as the OEMs do; so you'll have to adjust the mirror by physically manipulating the mirror surface. Still these are a good deal and function well once installed and adjusted. GOod luck finding a better option for a Gen 1 Tacoma!

Does not fit the factory holes on a 1993 f250 xl 4wd
It was a perfect fit for the discontinued Toyota part 87940-89147 for my 1994 Toyota pickup. It was very easy to install, maybe taking 30 minutes to take the old one off and install the new one. Thanks!
