Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. And today we're taking a look at the K-Source replacement side mirror. This is going to be a custom fit for the 2005-2009 Pontiac G6 coupe. And this is going to be for the passenger side. It does have the wiring connection so that you can use your controls on the inside to make any adjustments to that mirror face, so you can get it dialed in to eliminate any blind spots on your passenger side.
It does have a convex lens, so that helps to widen out the field of view and help to again, eliminate any blind spots. That's why it has that little warning down at the bottom saying that objects in the mirror are closer than they appear, because it can distort the depth perception in that mirror. But it's to give us that bigger field of view so we can see what's going on behind us.It has a breakaway design. So you can see this cut out here. That allows the mirror to fold in against our G6 so we don't have to worry about it getting knocked off or damaged, which might've been what happened before.
So it should be just exactly matching up with your old mirror. Has a durable plastic housing with a texturized black finish. So it's going to match up right to that same original footprint. There's no drilling or cutting required. This has that little hex nut seated in housing so you'll just put your hardware in and then attach it down just like your old mirror and make your wiring connection as well.Now, as I said, this is for the passenger side.
