Hi there. I'm Michael with www.etrailer.com Today, we're gonna take a quick look at the CIPA replacement side-view mirror. This is gonna be a direct replacement for the passenger side factory mirror on many different 1997 through 2004 Ford F-150 styles, including the 2002 and 2003 SuperCab and Regular Cab, as well as the 2004 Heritage Series, both the SuperCab and Regular Cab. It will also work to replace the 1997 through 1999 Ford F-250 Light Duty. This is modeled after the Ford's original look and fit so you really shouldn't be able to tell that it's a replacement. It should look like it came with your Ford, right from the factory, so you don't have to worry about that piece together from the junkyard sort of look.
It's gonna be very, very, very similar to the original and it, because it's using the same footprint as the original, it's gonna be extremely easy to get put in place. Basically, you just have to pull out the original, put this one in, it's gonna use the same mounting holes and everything so you're not gonna have to do any drilling. It's going to plug right in to the existing wiring connector. You can see we've got a couple of different options here, depending on your model. They've got those adopters there for you but that's going to plug right in and give you that power remote capability so you can adjust the mirror face position with the factory power controls inside your vehicle.
The front of the glass is plated with a reflective chrome so it's gonna give you a nice, clear image and it is a convex mirror so it's gonna give you a little bit of wider viewing angle so you can avoid those blind spots like most side view mirrors, passenger side view mirrors. And this is an OE-grade product so it's gonna be the same quality as the original. It does have a durable ABS plastic housing with a black finish on it. And it is going to have that breakaway design, so if you we're to run into the side of your garage or a parking post or something like that, it's gonna to fold in on itself to try and help absorb some of that impact and reduce the amount of damage done to the housing itself. Now, for those of you who do need a little bit more reassurance that this is gonna work for you, this is going to replace the original equipment number that you see on the screen there, so when you're taking your old one off or if you're going through your owner's manual, you see that number, you can trust this is gonna work for you.
So very easy to get installed. Definitely something that you can do yourself on a weekend project. That sort of thing. Definitely not something that you need to take to a mechanic to have done for you. Very simple process to make sure that your Ford F-150 or F-250 is gonna look complete and whole again with all integrated parts.

The electric passenger mirror for my Toyota Tundra was exactly what I expected and not much more than a used junk-yard replacement! Great folks to deal with.
The product was excellent with just one minor glitch. the electrical connector had to be turn just a little in order for the case to fall into place, other than that it was perfect.
Just installed this unit yesterday. Fits, works and looks same as original. Electrical "pig tail" a bit too long compared with original but nothing that can't be worked with. Very happy with the purchase
