Today we're going to be taking a look at part number CM18404. This is a CIPA replacement side mirror for the driver side. This product is going to fit your 2000 to 2003 Nissan Maxima. The side view mirror is a direct replacement for the driver side factory replacement mirror on your vehicle. This is designed to match the manufacturer's specs, offering a custom look and fit. It is going to feature the power remote capability, and so that way you can adjust the mirror face position with the factory power controls from within the vehicle. We're going to have OE grade flat glass with first surface plating that's going to reflect sharp, un-distorted images. The front of the glass is plated with reflective chrome and the flat mirror is going to provide a true representation of the size and distance of the reflected objects. This does have a break-away design, so that means that the mirror will fold in or out if it gets hit. That's going to help prevent breakage.
The housing on the unit is a durable ABS plastic housing with a nice black finish. Pretty simple installation: it's going to bolt to the existing mounting holes using your existing hardware. It's got the electrical connection that plugs into the existing wiring connectors. With this part number, you're going to get one driver's side mirror. It's also going to come with the foam gasket right there with some adhesive backing. You just peel and stick that, it's going to add some cushion between the mounting surfaces. The original equipment or OE number is 963023Y001. Keep in mind that you cannot upgrade the power remote operation if your OEM mirror is not already equipped with that feature.

The electric passenger mirror for my Toyota Tundra was exactly what I expected and not much more than a used junk-yard replacement! Great folks to deal with.
The product was excellent with just one minor glitch. the electrical connector had to be turn just a little in order for the case to fall into place, other than that it was perfect.
Just installed this unit yesterday. Fits, works and looks same as original. Electrical "pig tail" a bit too long compared with original but nothing that can't be worked with. Very happy with the purchase
