Hello neighbors, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at these WeatherTech Side Window Rain Guard/Air Deflectors for the front of your 2020 through 2024 Ford Explorer. Now folks, these are a custom fit application. Please ensure you're double checking that fit with our fit guide here at etrailer.com. Enter the year, make and model at the top center of our homepage in the Vehicle Information tab. Now folks, these do reduce wind noise and they also allow that interior heat to escape from the vehicle when you're parked and that kind of thing.
So you've got these installed, it's a hot day, you crack your windows about a half inch to an inch, give or take, and then that's gonna let that hot air vent out and keep the inside of your vehicle much cooler for when you get back inside. And if it rains, it's also gonna let you get some nice fresh air and keep the water out. Now they do install very quick and easy. You simply slide these up inside the window channel and there's no exterior tape needed, like some other brands out there. This installation tool here, it's kinda like a mini crowbar, if you will.
The first thing it's gonna help you do is clean out the inside of that window track with maybe some paper towel and some cleaner. But then it's also gonna let you help install these and help get them inside of that window track a lot easier. What we do here at etrailer and what I recommend is let the vehicle sit in the sun for a few hours. That's gonna help warm things up, all those rubber seals and gaskets inside the window channel and that channel itself will just be a little bit looser and easier to install these. Now once they are installed, they do boost a nice low profile, original OEM equipment look, and they offer exceptional durability with this three millimeter thick construction of acrylic.
So they do have a nice little dark tint to 'em. You can still see through it, but it also gives you that nice look on the outside of your vehicle. Now again, you're gonna get a set up front, so it's gonna fit your front driver and passenger side windows. They have a nice three year warranty. And again, this is our look at the WeatherTech Side Window Rain Guard/Air Deflectors.
I'm Steven, thank you for your time, thanks for watching. Have a great day.
