Toady we've got a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica and we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install these WeatherTech Side Window Deflectors, which is part number WT80840.These side window deflectors are a great accessory to have if you want interior heat to escape while cutting down on wind noise and not allowing water to get in if it's raining out. You'll be able to roll your window down about two and a half inches or so, wind will just ramp right off of the deflector. And if it's raining out one day it's also gonna protect the inside of your vehicle from any water that could seep inside. It has a dark tinted acrylic construction so it's gonna very durable and last a long time. And the dark tinting is also gonna be a bonus for if the sun is shining at a direct angle that could be in your eyes in the passenger or driver seat. Now it's a very quick and easy installation. We'll go ahead and show you how.
We're gonna start with this front end by sliding it into the window frame right there, right in front of where the window would go up. So we'll just slide it into place right there, like so. Now what we're gonna do is just feed it up, up to about here. And then on this side we're gonna have to pull down a bit and kinda warp it so that we can get it into the channel. Once we get it in there we'll continue working our way up, getting it in.
There we go.Now once you have it fully installed we're gonna go ahead and open up the car door. And we're gonna roll up the window a couple times so the window can adjust for it. So we're gonna start here, you kinda wanna pull out on the deflector a bit. Let it feed itself through. And then when you get up top you wanna do the same thing.
There we go. Now we'll go back down. And then do the same thing. It should go a little bit easier this time. There we go.
Now we're gonna roll it down and up about five to six times. Now once you roll it up five to six times we're just gonna leave it set for about 12 hours. When you're done just repeat this process for your driver side. It installs the same way. And that'll do it for our look at the WeatherTech Side Window Deflectors on our 2018 Chrysler Pacifica.
